Visit the Forty Springs, the fresh pure water in the forest rumored to hold healing properties. Spot crocodiles in the area. Visit Crocodile Ranch, where the feedings on Mondays and Thursdays is quite a sight, or visit the ‘crocodile market’ on Lake Chamo, a popular spot for spotting hippos, fish and birds. Enjoy a two hour trek on “God’s Bridge”, the isthmus that separates Lake Chamo and Abaya. Enjoy incredible views across both lakes. Visit Dorze Village, known for its uniquely shaped huts and impressive woven cloth.
The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
