Day 1

Ketchikan, Metlakatla & Misty Fjords

Visit Ketchikan, one of "America’s Top 100 small arts communities". Visit a variety of shops and galleries featuring resident artists. Enjoy a guided walking tour to explore Tsimshian Indian culture in Metlakatla and the legacy of founder Father Duncan. Visit a traditional longhouse, watch local dancers perform and meet Native artists. Learn the natural history of the fjords, listen to the call of nesting seabirds, and feel the mist of glistening waterfalls while gliding quietly beneath glacier-sculpted cliffs.

Day 2

Klassan & Thorne Bay

In Klassan, visit the Chief Son-I-Hat Whale House, the only remaining Haida clan house in Alaska. Thorne Bay was once one of the largest logging camps in the world. Enjoy a walking tour of this Alaskan community.

Day 3


Enjoy several options to explore Wrangell’s rich colorful history which includes a guided walking tour and a visit to the Wrangell Museum.

Day 4


Petersburg is a fishing town established by Norwegian fishermen in the late 1800’s. At the Sons of Norway Hall, enjoy a Norwegian Folk Dance show performed by Petersburg’s children.

Day 5

Hobart Bay or Windham Bay

Enjoy the day at your adventure base camp, outfitted with sea kayaks, small outboard driven Zego runabouts, and all-terrain vehicles. Enjoy hiking, wildlife-viewing, and relaxing campfires.

Day 6

Tracy Arm Fjord

In Tracy Arm explore the full length of this ice-carved fjord, tracing the face of cliffs that rise 4,000 feet above the sea.

Day 7

Juneau & Orca Point Lodge

Enjoy highlights of the scenic state capital, including the Mendenhall Glacier, Mount Roberts Tram, and local shops and galleries. Depart to Colt Island and go ashore for an Alaskan salmon and king crab dinner at Orca Point Lodge.

Day 8

Glacier Bay National Park

A Glacier Bay National Park Service Ranger leads your programming and a Native Huna Tlingit interpretive naturalist joins you to reveal traditional ties to this ancient treasure.

Day 9
