We flew in a a very tiny airplane to get to our last and more remote island of Santa Cruz. There were maybe 9 passengers on the flight. Again the views and landscapes of the Galapagos are breathtaking, it truelly is pristine. And hopefully through responsible tourism we can preserve it.
Santa Cruz was the most remote, with beautiful beaches and a nice sitting area in the back of the hotel, where we lounged and read books from their collection. This also housed tortoise reserves, where we could see more tortoises, and learn more about what they are doing to help preserve and maintain the tortoises of the galapagos.
