Yacutinga Lodge recently received the distinction of becoming the FIRST ecolodge in Argentina to be verified by Rainforest Alliance. This reflects the lodge's commitment to operate sustainably and protect the surrounding environment. Yacutinga has been dedicated to conserving the Interior Atlantic Rainforest for the last 14 years, so this recognition is greatly deserved.
Located on the Upper Iguazu River, Yacutinga is only 40 miles from the famed Iguazu Falls. However, the lodge creates an environment for nature lovers who do not want to be in the midst of mass tourism. Not only does the lodge strive to preserve the environment, conditions have been improved through biological research and initiatives. Yacutinga also takes interest in the local people of the area. The lodge provides job opportunities for residents of the neighboring Guarani Community Kagui Pora.
Yacutinga Lodge is not simply an ecolodge, but it is an Environmental Project that is also contributing to the community. We are proud to provide an opportunity for our travelers to experience this special place during our Iguazu Falls Tour. We send our congratulations to Yacutinga Lodge, and maybe we will be sending YOU there in the future!
