Visit the Cordoba region of Argentina with a stay at the historic Estancia Los Potreros - a working horse and cattle farm. Enjoy warm countryside hospitality and an authentic ranching experience as you immerse yourself in the Argentine Gaucho way of life.
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Fly to Cordoba today where you are met and transfer to the nearby estancia for your 3 night stay. Set in a beautiful reserve at the top of the Cordoba hills, the estancia dates from 1574 when it began breeding mules for use in silver mines in Peru. Today it is an idyllic retreat for horsemen and nature lovers. Enjoy an introduction to the estancia's day to day routine and settle in to comfort this evening.
Your time at the estancia is flexible to do as you like and a variety of activities are available to you. Choose from short horseback rides or polo events and lessons. Extend your stay to include an overnight-packing trip or plan to visit during a fixed polo week with events occurring everyday. Guests are encouraged to immerse themselves in the estancia's routine, assisting the gauchos with moving horses, seasonal cattle drives, and other day to day tasks. For those interested in cuisine, the on-site chef is delighted to demonstrate traditional Argentine dishes from the farm kitchen, using many ingredients grown on the estancia's grounds. For the hiking enthusiast, explore the 6500 acres of rolling hills rich in bird and plant life. Those who would prefer to sit back and relax, a well-stocked library, fantastic wines, a nearby golf course or a pool await you.

The trip was terrific with great planning on your part. Most of the adventures were not mainstream and somewhat off the beaten path which made it especially enjoyable!! We felt taken care of and you all were readily available to respond to questions and issues. I would highly recommend your company and friends have already expressed interest based on our pictures and excitement.

Our travel was flawless! The rider pickup (airport, hotel, ship) was seamless. Jane's recommendation for Emerald Cruise Sakara was everything I wanted but the experience was soooo much more. Adventure Life took care of each and every detail and this was the easiest of all my travels.

I spoke with at least a half dozen other travel companies, looking for a Galapagos cruise that fit our schedule and budget. Some companies could manage one or the other, but Erin was the only one who could do both. She found us the perfect cruise, at a fantastic price! And she has been quick and patient with responses to my many questions. So far, Adventure Life has been a fantastic company to work with!
