Day 1: Arrive to Bali

You are met at the airport by the hotel shuttle van and transferred to your new home for the next 6 nights. Located along Bali's southern Bukit Peninsula in the heart of Indonesia's premier surf breaks, Suarga Padang Padang is built upon three pillars of sustainability: environmental, social, and economical. Most of the resort is built on stilts in an effort to preserve the indigenous flora and fauna of the area. Suarga features a total of 36 rooms on 1.5 acres.

Settle into your Ulin Pavillion room and explore your new surroundings this evening.

Day 2-6: Explore Bali

Your time at Suarga is free to do as you wish. Daily breakfast is included in your stay. Spend your days arranging for guided activities, or explore on your own.

Here are some suggested activities:

Tanah Lot
Explore the famous water temple, built in the 16th century on a rock formation surrounded by the black sands of Bali's southwest coastline. You can only access the temple during low tide. Tanah Lot is a truly mystical site to explore, and one that affords amazing photographic opportunities, particularly at sunset.

Uluwatu Temple & Kecak Dinner
Spend the evening enjoying dinner and a performance at one of Bali's most dramatic cultural centers, the Uluwatu Temple. The dinner show is offered daily at 6 PM and includes a Balinese male chorus chanting in rhythm from the 11th-century temple.

Waterbom
Described as an oasis in the middle of the famous Kuta stretch, Waterbom Bali is situated in a lush tropical garden setting with many great rides and attractions. Exciting water slides slice through 3.8 hectares of landscaped tropical parks providing hours of fun and entertainment for the young and the young at heart! There are 101 ways to fill 24 hours each day with thrilling activities on land and in water.

Mount Batur Trek
Spend the day hiking or biking on Bali's third highest peak, Mount Batur Volcano. Enjoy an adventure and a sunrise over the mountain. Finish off the day with a relaxing dip in a hot spring or enjoy an exhilarating ride past traditional villages and mountain scenery on your bike.

Amed & Tulamben Diving or Snorkeling
Set out to explore the marine world of Bali's enchanting eastern coast, known as a Mecca of sorts for divers and snorkelers. Amed and Tulamben are a draw for all ages, being the home to the famous USAT Liberty shipwreck and offering shallow and safe waters bursting with colorful marine life.

Bali Tree Top
Located in the cool hinterlands north of Ubud, Bali Treetop Adventure Park is a fun activity set in a grassy forest adjacent to the Bali Botanical Garden. Activities include seven Adventure Circuits, from one tree to another, with heights ranging between 2 - 20 meters. There are 72 challenges for all levels and ages including suspended bridges, spider nets, Tarzan jumps, flying-fox, flying swings, and many more.

Bali Bird Park
The innovative Bali Bird Park arrived on Bali's tourism scene more than 20 years ago. Offering over 1,000 birds and 250 exotic species, you are taken on a unique avian journey across the Indonesian archipelago, Latin America, Africa, and Australia. Visitors are invited to interact with specially trained hawks during supervised shows and to marvel at the beautiful collection of birds walking freely around the lushly landscaped grounds.

Day 7: Fly Home

Arrange to head back to the airport this morning in the hotel's van in time for your flight onward.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
