But there are still great trips to be found. December is a summer month in Patagonia, so the weather should be beautiful and as predictable as Patagonia’s unpredictable weather can get. Temperate Galapagos is a great time to visit year-round. It will be busy in December, but if you travel before the Xmas holiday — you’re likely to find a good deal or two on your trip. Frankly, December is an excellent month to visit almost every destination in Latin America (for example, a few areas in the Andes and Amazon might will be more temperament, weather wise).
