Thanks! Rafting the Lochsa is actually turning into an annual company trip for us. We can't get enough of the Lochsa! The camera isn't anything fancy; i'ts the one I bring along on adventures that I won't be heartbroken if I break it. But I do have a waterproof case (DiCAPac WP-570 Waterproof Case) -- it isn't so great for underwater shots, but provides perfect protection for things like a rafting trip.

Great post! I never knew you could have so much fun in the Lochsa River. It reminds me of the time I spent time rafting along the Delaware. It wasn't as dangerous as your trip, but it sure was a lot of fun. What kind of camera did you use for your trip? Was it waterproof? If you're ever in West Virginia I highly recommend checking out rafting the Gauley River. Hope you have a blast! Thanks for the post!
