The Delfin II cruises the Upper Amazon in style (mindyteini)
At one village we were able to hand out additional school supplies, and play a friendly game of soccer against their women’s team (they crushed up). We talked to a few friendly locals about how life was changing in the villages, and how the tourists were bringing in a new occupation for them. Many of the women were trying to sell us their beaded goods, belts, placemats, necklaces, or even painting. We sang songs with the kids, and listened to their folk stories of the River.
