Adventure Lifers Volunteer with United Way

Adventure Life crew volunteering and attacking those weeds!

Recently, the Adventure Life staff took the day to head out of the office and give back to our community.  We participated in the United Way's National Day of Action!  Volunteers groups went to different locations around Missoula and took part in various projects, including painting, clean-up, and yard work.   Our crew went to Orchard Gardens to do a little weed-pulling in the fields.   These community gardens are run by Garden City Harvest - a local nonprofit who's mission is to build community through agriculture by growing produce with and for people of low-incomes.

This day is one way Adventure Life encourages giving back locally.  After all, that's what we're all about on our trips abroad to Peru and other destinations.  So why not continue giving back to our neighbors here in Missoula?  A big thank you to hosts at Orchard Gardens for a beautiful day in the sun and great company!  Take a look at our staff's volunteering adventures here.
