Returning to mainland Ecuador after sailing in the Galapagos, I was amazed at the largeness of Quito. Due to the flight delay on our way to South America and the consequential re-arrangement of our tour, we had yet to view Ecuador’s capital city in the daylight until our trip was almost over. We bounded out of our hotel and into the Adventure Life van, setting off with our guides with every intention of being touristy. We visited the Equator (I balanced an egg on a nail and could not, despite my best efforts, walk in a straight line), the nearby Pichincha volcano, the colonial Old Town, the towering Basilica, and took part in the Inti Raymi Festival. Coming from Montana, I am constantly in awe of large cities, but Quito impressed me greatly with its volcanic views and historic center. Ever grateful to have a personal guide and driver, I relied heavily on the convenience of the van as I zoomed around the city and the company of my guide, who was happy to provide me with interesting facts about the area. Working with travel, I often hear about UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It gives me pleasure to know I’ve wandered Quito: the first of them all.
Kevin got right on our request and had us booked within the week

The info on the website was laid out very well. I did some comparisons with other tours and found Adventure Life met a lot of what I wanted in an Antarctica trip at the cheapest price. Requested a quote on Claudia contacted me right away. She answered a lot of questions the I had via email even though she offered to discuss via phone call. I’m more of an email person so appreciated how she accommodated that and answered all my questions. And when I was ready to book, she quickly got the ball rolling with getting our spots reserved on the trip my friend and I wanted. Thanks again, Claudia!

(1) great information on the website and throughout all the "materials." (2) Jane Packer is great: knowledgeable, responsive, takes a personal interest and tone, seems to care about the customer as a person not a sale.

For our first trip to Costa Rica, Adventure Life designed a tour that meets the interests, ecological and adventure, of our party; but also takes into account our physical limitations sine we are all septuagenarian. We are looking forward to the trip.
