Had to have my damn Tivas fixed again and a haircut, not many choices so ended up with a 4 minute $3 haircut, the guy turns on the fan behind my balding head and the little hair I have left starts flapping and he just jabs away with the scissors, was unbelievable. I guess you get what you pay for and besides the hookers didn't even hit on me, that's how bad it was. Tom however greeted two girls sitting on the pavement and then they shadowed us and Tom asked me what they were saying to him, if only he had his hearing aid attached !!! I told them to bugger off and told Tom he can't greet every girl he see's. Got up at 5:30 walked the town flat but to no avail could we find a cup of coffee, so we headed south crossed the two border in three hours , actually went well all things considered.Found a McDonald s at noon and cowed down and had the best cup of coffee ever, Tom was ravenous and livid that the burger he got did not look like the picture he ordered from. The roads are lovely her, no stray dogs or donkey carts or people stumbling around in the road, noticeably safer than from where we have come from , mostly obey the rules of the road which is real nice for us.
Stopped in Jaco for the night, found a real nice place at the beach for $40 , I guess will wait and see how it looks in the daylight cause once again arrived in the dark, but much safer to drive at night here, no potholes, no pot , no dogs.
Kevin got right on our request and had us booked within the week

The info on the website was laid out very well. I did some comparisons with other tours and found Adventure Life met a lot of what I wanted in an Antarctica trip at the cheapest price. Requested a quote on Claudia contacted me right away. She answered a lot of questions the I had via email even though she offered to discuss via phone call. I’m more of an email person so appreciated how she accommodated that and answered all my questions. And when I was ready to book, she quickly got the ball rolling with getting our spots reserved on the trip my friend and I wanted. Thanks again, Claudia!

(1) great information on the website and throughout all the "materials." (2) Jane Packer is great: knowledgeable, responsive, takes a personal interest and tone, seems to care about the customer as a person not a sale.

For our first trip to Costa Rica, Adventure Life designed a tour that meets the interests, ecological and adventure, of our party; but also takes into account our physical limitations sine we are all septuagenarian. We are looking forward to the trip.
