You have gone from a website (I wonder if it's a scam??) to almost personal friends. You were so helpful in setting up our trip, even when we wanted to deviate from the usual scheduling. Your written communications were professional and timely. And most important, everyone we talked to was friendly, helpful, and when you didn't have an immediate answer to a question, you found the answer and called back. Is there a score above A+?
You arranged our reservations with Quark for the Antarctic Tour. The trip was all it was advertised to be and all we could wish for. We wanted to experience the Antarctic, with the wind in our faces, penguins at our feet and our feet on the actual continent. We did not want a floating palace with bingo and swimming pool. We got the right tour for us and would recommend it for any other able-bodied, independent minded traveler.
Adventure Life arranged that we be escorted from the international Buenos Aires airport to the national airport. Our escort, Joe, was a highlight of the trip! It's hard to believe we spent less than 2 hours with Joe (an hour on our way south and an hour on our way north two weeks later). He is so pleasant, a delight to visit with, helpful and courteous. I just can't say enough nice things about him.
Since we stayed in Ushuaia two nights after the tour, you arranged for us to stay at another hotel. Posada Fueguina was just right for us. It's a small hotel, with the advantages and personal care of a bed and breakfast, but with the privacy of a hotel. We would definitely recommend it. It is uphill several blocks from the waterfront, just a pleasant walk for us, but too demanding for some travelers. And yes, they include a lovely breakfast, personally served in a lovely breakfast room.
Would we like to go again? You bet!
Meanwhile, we'll happily tell our adventurous friends about Adventure Life.
The trip was not only memorable for the amount of animals we saw but also for the people and accommodations at the two camps where we stayed. Our first guide, BK, was a wealth of information about the animals, landscape and down to the plants and what they were used for. Everyday out was a learning experience with him. All the people at the camps were gracious and the food was excellent.
Our second camp in the Okavanga was just as good as the first as far as the staff, accommodations, food and animals. After our experience at the first camp we amazed that the high quality remained the same. Our guide, G, made sure we were able to enjoy every experience including a rush through the bush to witness a cheetah and an ensuing hunt that he heard over his radio.
In both camps there were enough guides out that if they saw something the other guides were informed which helped in seeing as much as possible. It was also nice that the concessions were large enough that we did not have vehicles following each other throughout the day.
Normally there is always something in a trip of this length that we think could be improved upon but this is the rare case where we cannot think of anything. From the time we left the States to when we returned it was one of the most hassle free vacations we took.
Perhaps emphasizing the use of the laundry facilities at the camps would be useful because of the luggage restrictions would be the only thing I can think of as an improvement to future clients.

Mary was so pleasant and professional. She made sure all of our questions were answered.
