New Year, New Office Building

It’s an exciting new year for us at Adventure Life in our new office! Last fall Adventure Lifers packed up our belongings and headed across town to set up residence in our brand new building. Check out our video of our moving day. There were a few sad moments leaving our old building – our Adventure Life home for the past ten plus years. So many memories that have been [...]

Missoula Dirty Dash: Race to the Finish in Style

Creative costumes, great brews, and mud-covered bodies were all part of Missoula’s Dirty Dash Event supporting our local CASA program. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate. Each trained community volunteer provides consistent, long-term advocacy for every child to live in a safe, permanent home. The Adventure Life Team was funded through the company’s Sports Sponsorship Program which gives support to employees involved in athletics around Missoula. Adventure Lifer’s Erin [...]

Adventure Life New Reception Area

This summer we’ve watched as our new office building has taken shape on the Missoula skyline. Each week we see new additions to the construction on the outside and inside of the building. This week, check out my new reception area in this sketch! I can’t tell you how excited I am to have a lobby area. While we are predominantly an internet based company, we do have a share [...]

Lonesome George the famous Galapagos tortoise dies

Lonesome George, the famous Pinta Island tortoise of the Galapagos, has died. George was a beloved icon of the Galapagos Islands and his death comes as a shock to some. Scientists estimated his age at around 100 years which may seem old in human years but is actually middle-aged for giant tortoises who live to be 200 years. George was also the last surviving member of the Pinta Island subspecies [...]

Adventure Life Wins Sustainable Commuting Award. . . Again!

We did it. . . Again! For the second year in a row, our staff has bused, biked, walked, and carpooled our way to winning the sustainable commuting award during Bike Walk Bus Week for 2012. This annual Missoula event is a competition between businesses in our community sponsored by Missoula In Motion which supports healthy transportation practices. Of course, practice makes perfect. So that’s what we did in the [...]

Spring New Office Building Tour

It’s true! Spring showers do bring May flowers. Summer is here, and our new Adventure Life office building continues to grow alongside the lush green grass in our backyards. Recently, the Adventure Life crew took a tour of our new home-to-be, but not before the rain was finished washing away all the dreariness of the winter months behind us. Our tour guide, Brian, took us through the building as the [...]

New Neighborhood for the Adventure Life Office Building!

The walls of the new Adventure Life office building are going up faster than I can keep track of. Our anticipation grows alongside them as we wait for the day we’ll walk through those doors! We’re not the only ones moving into the neighborhood. Just around the corner, you’ll find a new climbing gym, apartment complex, grocery store, and brewery – all of the essentials for us Adventure Lifers! Speaking [...]

Our New Adventure Life Building

Plans are laid out, the ground has been broken, and Adventure Life is going forward with a new office building! Our brand new facility is in the works and we’ll be moving across town sometime this year. The ground breaking occurred in January and the foundation has been poured. It’s not a minute too soon because are a rapidly outgrowing our current office! The new building will be in a [...]

Adventure Life Sports Sponsorship Program

This year Adventure Life has kicked off our Sports Sponsorship Program. When we’re not exploring places like Peru, Nicaragua, trekking Patagonia or cruising Antarctica, Adventure Lifers find time to volunteer around Missoula and be as active as we can! Thus the Adventure Life Sports Sponsorship Program was born in an effort to support our staff and the community in which we live. Applications quickly rolled in for soccer teams, volleyball [...]

Adventure Life Office Whitewater Rafting Trip

Recently, Adventure Life employees took a Saturday together to brave the rapids of the mighty Lochsa River in Idaho. The Lochsa River is pronounced “lock-saw” which means rough water in the Nez Perce Language. It has 37 Class III, 25 Class IV, and two Class V rapids that had us alert and ready for anything. For some of us this was our first whitewater experience with Class V rapids. So [...]
