Moderately active but not overly strenuous. This level includes activities like casual cycling, yoga, or excursions/activities that typically last 3-5 hours total each day.
Arrive to Phnom Penh where you are met by your guide and drive to your hotel for a leisurely evening. Once considered one of the most beautiful cities in the Orient, the bustling city still retains its colonial charm and picturesque location along the confluence of the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers.
After a relaxing break, visit Wat Phnom, where a 14th century stupa and a small pagoda stand. It is the tallest religious structure in the city. Continue along the riverside promenade, stopping at the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. This is one of the best places in all of Cambodia where objects embodying the brilliance of the Khmer civilization can still be viewed.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by your private driver and guide to transfer directly to Sihanoukville (approximately 4-5 hours driving). Drop off at the pier for your shuttle boat transfer to Koh Rong.
Enjoy a free day at your leisure on what is arguably the most beautiful island in Cambodia, Koh Rong Samloem. This is the second largest island in the chain boasting 3 miles (5 km) of white sand beach along with mountains, waterfalls and freshwater streams that run down to the ocean.
After breakfast, take a shuttle boat transfer back to Sihanoukville. Meet your private driver for transferring to Sihanoukville airport for your departure flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be welcomed by your private driver and guide for transferring to your hotel.
Experience an unforgettable morning riding the back trails among the ruins of the Angkor Kingdom. Bike just about 18 miles (28 km) today as you explore the most important religious monument in Cambodia, watching the sun rise over the triple towers of Angkor Wat. As the roosters begin to crow, your tour starts at 4:30 am with a ride to Angkor Wat. Here, your guide will pick out the perfect position to watch the dawn break. If the weather gods are with you, the sun will rise up behind Angkor Wat and provide the most stunning of silhouettes. As the crowds thin, take an unforgettable walk through the temple, where the soft light and cool temperatures present Angkor at its best.
A short pedal away, a delicious breakfast spread awaits. After breakfast, ride around the hidden trails of the Angkor complex to visit some of the best-kept secrets and iconic temples of the Bavon, Ta Prom and the Elephant Terrace. As the day heats up, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with a view of Sra Srang Lake and return to your hotel in the afternoon to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Note: Appropriate dress (knees and shoulders fully covered) is compulsory for entry into certain sections of Angkor Wat, and should also be observed throughout all temple areas for reasons of cultural sensitivity.
Set out early this morning to the sroksrai Khmer (Cambodian countryside) for a leisurely bike and to learn a few of the signature dishes from a local Cambodian family. First go shopping at a local market for ingredients and then cycle to the family house in the countryside. Start cooking the dishes you’ll enjoy together with the family during lunch. Ride through rice fields and small villages. On any given day you may learn about local village life, visit a school, see catfish being smoked, or speak to a fisherman while they are preparing their nets. If you are interested you can stop and pay a visit to some of these traditional Khmer houses and pagodas or chat with the local people. After a while, take a rest and try some local drinks, such as sugar cane juice, a refreshing sweet drink poured over ice - this is drunk by many Cambodians and is especially popular in the countryside. In the early afternoon you will cycle back to Siem Reap.
This afternoon take a scenic drive to Banteay Srey, loosely translated as "Citadel of Women." It houses some of the finest and best-preserved examples of classical Khmer bas-relief. The walls are densely covered with some of the most beautiful and intricate carvings of any Angkorian temple. The temple's relatively small size, pink sandstone construction and ornate design give it a fairyland ambiance. Return to Siem Reap in the late afternoon.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.

We book a tour to Peru with them in May. Viewing from their website we didn’t realize that they are private tour company but after quoting the price, it seems reasonable for a private tour, let’s see how’s their service after our tour. The process of booking went smoothly except the payment part which need a bit of work. Need to improve better payment method and options.
