This stop happens to be the capital of Grenada and offers guests active activities such as hiking and tubing. This destination is becoming more popular due to the moderate tropical climate that ensures the success of spice production. Nutmegs are the most plentiful crop, followed by an array of such spices as cocoa, mace, cloves, vanilla, cinnamon, and ginger.

St. George's - Spice Island Exploration: It is for a reason that Grenada is known as the “Spice Island”. With a brief tour of Grenada's quaint old city of St. George’s, set out on this most interesting tour of a fruit confectionery, a Spice Garden, and a local Rum Factory that was once a sugar factory. Three and a half miles from St. George's lies the De La Grenade Industries, a family owned producer of jams and jellies made from guava and the prize-winning Nutmeg Syrup and De La Grenade Liqueur all made from nutmeg. Wait until you taste their rum punch, and as you walk out take one of their many assorted gift baskets. In a matter of minutes find yourself engulfed in the aroma of every spice that is grown on the Spice Isle. The Laura Herb and Spice Garden is just what the name says - it is a herb garden that has herbs and medicinal plants, some of which are exported for use in patent medicines and in Caribbean and International cuisine. Fun names like Shado Bennie and Jump Up and Kiss Me are local medicinal plants of which many uses are found. Cocoa, nutmeg, mace, pimento, cinnnamon, vanilla, tumeric cloves......mmm spices. St. George's - Adventure River Tubing: Balthazar River "ain't named Grenada's Great River for notting', as they say locally. Fed from sources located deep in the island's interior, this river is nestled between exotic tropical rainforest, flora, and fauna. River tubing guests experience, "a thrill of a life time!" The tour starts with a 45-minute drive out of the town of St. George's through the scenic hilly interior of the Grand Etang Rainforest Reserve and on to the Balthazar Estate. The drive brings you to the launch site for the safety briefing. After the briefing, you are provided with your life vest and modified inner tube before getting into the river. Wet, wild and wonderful from the word go, with everyone in the water, your guides accompany you on the journey, gently spinning and swirling in the currents of the river, as you take in the exotic scenery of tropical vegetation and wildlife at the same time.

St. George's - Rainforest Hike & Swim: This Yachting Land Adventure is for nature lovers who enjoy peace and tranquility. Leaving the St. George’s pier, drive along the Carenage which is Grenada’s locked harbor. Continue through the town of St. George over the old Fort Road for a photo stop before continuing to Morne Gazo, an undisturbed rainforest covering a conical hill rising to 1140 feet above sea level. It is covered in fairly intact semi-deciduous rainforest and it is the only area of this type of forest remaining in the country. Upon reaching the summit you get a panoramic view of Point Salines in the south of the island across to Grand Etang forest hills and down towards La Sagesse. From Morne Gazo the drive goes along the Westerhall Main road via the sugar belt and past a quaint little Sugar Factory on the way to the famous Grand Anse Beach. You are welcomed with a beverage and may relax up to one hour on the beach. Changing facilities are available for those wishing to swim in the clear waters of the large sandy beach before returning to the ship.
