Day 1: Bridgetown, Barbados | Embark

The island of Barbados includes UNESCO Heritage Sites, excellent beaches and history dating back to 1628. The climate is tropical with constant warm temperatures during the year cooled by light trade winds.

Day 2: Iles des Saintes, Guadeloupe

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
The SeaDream anchorage off the island of Terre-de-Haut (part of the Iles des Saintes group of Islands) is one of the most picturesque in the entire Caribbean. Your SeaDream yacht will anchor in the bay off Bourg des Saintes, the main village on the island. Just beyond the sister island of Ilet a Cabrit to the north, you can see the main island of Guadeloupe and volcanic La Soufriere mountain with a height of about 1,466 meters/4,810 feet. A short ride onboard your SeaDream tender will take you right into the center of this charming village with its shops, restaurants, and cafes. It is highly recommended to stroll along the picturesque streets and colorfully painted houses, soaking in the relaxed blend of the island's French, Mediterranean & Caribbean atmosphere. If you feel energetic, you can hike up to Fort Napoleon, which has been converted into a museum, for some stunning hilltop views. You can't miss it; just turn left as you come off the pier and proceed about one mile, uphill. The museum is generally open from 0900-1230 hours and charges a small entrance fee so bring your Euros. And watch your step- the grounds around the fort are also home to a unique cactus garden and iguanas. Feeling even more energetic? Take out one of the SeaDream mountain bikes! Are you looking for some sun, sand, beach and palm trees? An onboard club director knows a great beach just a short 20-25 minute, mostly flat, stroll from town. Along the walk, keep your eyes on the trees which is an often spot for some of the island's iguanas. Grab your sunscreen, a bottle of water and a towel from the yacht, don your bathing suit and "hit the road" for some sunny hours at the beach. Casual, fun and free! During your visit to the island, the SeaDream marina opens up for swimming and water sports activities from the yacht. Check your daily program for the hours.

Day 3: Plymouth, Montserrat

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Visit the ghost town of Plymouth on the island of Montserrat. Abandoned in 1997 after the Soufriere Hills volcano resumed eruptions, the town was constructed on historical lava deposits. Plymouth remains the capital of Montserrat, making it the only ghost town that serves as the capital of a political territory.

Day 4-5: Gustavia, St. Barths

  • Ship
  • 2 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 2 Dinners
Perhaps one of the most treasured destinations in the Caribbean! This small island belonging to the French West Indies has so much to offer to SeaDream guests. Incredible shopping lies only steps away from the pier. Incredible beaches, resorts, restaurants, and activities abound both day and night. SeaDream also offers various land adventures for you to discover the island. Ask one of the officers to take you on a hike or bike ride around the island. Another great activity here is to simply relax and watch all of the incredible yachts arriving and departing.

Day 6: Sandy Ground, Anguilla

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
The British Overseas Territory of Anguilla is becoming more popular due to its incredible resort options as well as world-recognized beaches and amazing golf courses. SeaDream offers an opportunity to tee off, swim with dolphins, or for the energetic, bike around the island with the captain or club director. Naturally, a water sport is offered while the ship is anchored off Sandy Ground.

Day 7: White Bay, Jost van Dyke

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
The British Virgin Islands' barefoot island and home of the "Painkiller" drink. Population depends on the month – typically 250-300. This is another SeaDream destination where you may be served champagne and caviar in the surf followed by a beach barbecue lunch. A hike is always offered to guests to visit the famous Foxy’s Bar at Great Harbour (hopefully, the boutique is open) or you can stroll a few meters down the beach to the Soggy Dollar Bar. Snorkeling equipment is provided as well as some of the water toys!

Day 8: Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas | Disembark

  • 1 Breakfast
The capital and largest city in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Charlotte Amalie has two ports of call for cruise vessels, Havensight, and Crown Bay. SeaDream yachts are almost always docked at Crown Bay which is very close to the airport. In the event the yachts call to the island as a port of call rather than an embarkation point, you will find the yacht anchored in the bay and tendering downtown. The island has tons of history, beautiful beaches, a fantastic golf course, and incredible shopping options.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
