Day 1 Embark in Puntarenas | Curu, Costa Rica

Embark in Puntarenas this afternoon. Settle in to your cabin as the ship sails to Curu Reserve. Arrive in Curu this evening and overnight at anchor.

Day 2 Curu | Tortuga Island

Embark on an optional walking excursion with local Rangers in the Curu Nature Reserve. Later, rejoin your ship for a short sailing to Tortuga Island, arriving at noon for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of this paradise island. Join your shipmates on the beach for a BBQ. Spend the afternoon exploring more of this amazing island and overnight at anchor.

Day 3 Quepos | Playa Biesanz

Early in the morning, leave Tortuga Island for Quepos. Upon arrival, transfer to Manuel Antonio Reserve, one of the highlights of the cruise. An optional excursion takes you into Manuel Antonio Park, which consists of three magnificent white-sand beaches, backed by a jungle that shelters hundreds of fascinating plant species. Manuel Antonio offers well-maintained trails where you can explore the jungle on your own or join a walk with one of the naturalists. Optional excursions are offered to Savegre River or a Forest Canopy Tour. In the afternoon sail to nearby Playa Biesanz for a swim. Enjoy a tropical evening with dinner and a party followed by a late evening sailing to Golfo Dulce - Puerto Jimenez.

Day 4 Puerto Jimenez | Casa Orquideas Private Reserve | Golfito

Reach Puerto Jimenez and disembark for an optional excursion to explore the Osa Peninsula. The park is part of one of the biological corridors leading to the Corcovado National Park and offers the opportunity for a smooth walk in secondary forest and interaction with endemic animal life. Return to the ship for a late lunch while sailing across Golfo Dulce to Casa Orquideas. Reach Casa Orquideas and explore this beautiful and private flowers sanctuary on an optional walking excursion. Visit the extensive and very well-preserved grounds. Afterwards, take some time to swim. Next sail to Golfito Bay, arriving at midnight for immigration procedures and then sail overnight to Coiba Island, Panama.

Day 5 Coiba Island | Granito De Oro Island, Panama

Arrive on Coiba Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest island in Central America. Your ship's Naturalist offers an optional walking excursion this morning, taking you on a short, uphill walk to discover the local forest and animal life. Enjoy a beach BBQ before sailing to nearby Granito de Oro Island for swimming and snorkeling in a pristine environment. The waters are teeming with marine life. The island is surrounded by one of the largest coral reefs in the Americas' Pacific coast and marks the beginning of the underwater Cordilera mountain chain which encompasses Coco's and the Galapagos. This region offers a unique underwater experience not to be missed. In the afternoon, leave Granito de Oro and sail to Punta Patino-Darrien.

Day 6 Punta Patino Darrien, San Miguel Gulf

Arrive in Punta Patino-San Miguel Gulf in the afternoon and overnight at anchor.

Day 7 Punta Patino Darrien

Depart on an optional excursion to Punta Patino in the Darrien National Park and to the Mogue Embera Reserve. Sail upstream the Mogue River in dugout canoes and reach the Village of Mogue after passing through a mangroves ecosystem where you are welcomed by Embera Indians, one of the 7 indigenous groups living in Panama. They are proud and very friendly and known for their beautiful handicrafts and well-preserved traditions. You are invited to share their lunch and dance with them. In the evening sail to Panama City - Amador Flamenco marina.

Day 8 Flamenco Marina | Panama Canal

Arrive in the morning at Flamenco Marina, Panama City. An optional excursion visits Panama City. After lunch on board, start preparing for the Panama Canal crossing around 3 PM. Cross the Miraflores and the San Pedro Locks before reaching Gatun Lake for a day cruise and an evening at anchor.

Day 9 Gatun Lake Exploration | Panama Canal

Today spend additional time exploring Gatun Lake. Your morning excursions are to the Smithsonian Institute's facility and to an Embera Village. Late in the evening exit the Gatun Lake at Gatun Locks.

Day 10 Disembark in Flamenco Marina, Panama City

Exit the canal at the Miraflores Locks in the early hours of the morning and reach Flamenco Marina in Panama City. Disembark the Callisto between 6:00 - 9:30 AM.

Child Discount:
Children between the ages of 7-10 sharing a cabin with two paying adults receive a 50% discount on the cruise fare per person in twin cabin. Children between the ages of 10-16 sharing a cabin with two paying adults receive a 35% discount.

Single Supplement is 75% on this journey.
Third person reduction in Category C & Category B is 30%.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own.
