The Fragata welcomes you on board and invites you to discover the primeval flora and fauna of the Galapagos archipelago. The yacht allows the visitor access to coves and inlets that are inaccessible to the larger ships, with flexibility of itinerary and ample opportunity for sun-bathing on an isolated beach or snorkeling with sea lions.

Amenities on board the Fragata
Guests aboard the Fragata will enjoy the attractive teak interior and attention to every detail. Her spacious interior is fully air-conditioned, from the comfortable lounge with large panoramic windows, stereo and TV/VCR, to the elegant dining hall. The Fragata also offers her 16 guests a bar, inviting living room, small library, spacious sundecks, and diving platform.

The galley serves fine meals with a blend of international and Ecuadorian cuisine on a luxurious setting. The Fragata's numerous sun decks are both shaded and open - in a word: perfect for lounging around or drying off after snorkeling or diving among penguins and sea lions.

Your experienced naturalist bilingual guide will introduce you to the astonishing Galapagos flora and fauna. Trekking, swimming, snorkeling are some of the complementary activities offered on board. The Fragata carries full snorkel equipment for all of her passengers.

20 years of experience and a top qualified crew (captain, naturalist bilingual guide, cook, assistant of cook, barman, engineer and two sailors) guarantee safety, seriousness and comfort, preserving the fragile ecosystem of the Galapagos Islands, considered Heritage of the Humanity.

Fragata Accommodations
The Fragata accommodates 16 passengers in eight cozy double and single cabins, all decorated and equipped to provide a relaxed cruise in the islands. All of the comfortable cabins are fully carpeted and have private bath facilities with toilet, shower, hot water, washbasin and vanity.

  • Length: 75 ft.
  • Beam: 21 ft.
  • Draft: 12 ft.
  • Engines: 2 x 200 H.P. Detroit Diesel 8V-71
  • Generators: 1 x 21 KVA Cummins and 1 x 20 Detroit for 100 and 220 volt; 12 volt DC
  • Speed: 8 knots cruising
  • Crew: (8) captain, multilingual guide, engineer, international cook, barman, waitress and two sailors.
  • Navigation Equipment: 24 mile Furuno radar, GPS Satellite Navigator, Echo sounder Furuno 1000 ft., speed and distance log, compasses, barometer clock.
  • Communication Equipment: SSB radio, VHF radio
  • Safety Equipment: EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon), 2 x 16 person panga with 15 HP outboard motor, life jackets, flares and signals, smoke detectors, complete fire system
  • Options: Ocassional diving (inquire), full snorkel gear for all passengers
