The Journey I (formerly called the Anahi) is a power Catamaran yacht taking into account the highest standards of luxury and comfort. The Journey I will visit some of the more remote islands and cruise with more comfort than other boats in its size with great stability and luxurious interiors. Tour the less visited excursion sites and explore the Galapagos while practically having the Islands to yourself!
She offers comfortable accommodations for her 16 guests in 6 twin bed cabins located in the main deck and 2 suite cabins located in the upper deck. All cabins feature private facilities and air conditioning. Additionally the yacht has ample resting areas, sundeck, library, TV-DVD room, comfortable dinning room, bar and lounge and Jacuzzi.
On Board Amenities
The Journey I is a very spacious yacht with larger-than-average inside and outside social areas. She features lots of open deck space allowing guests to make the most of the natural wonders of the Galapagos Islands. Each guest can enjoy well-furnished areas offering you your creature comforts and privacy.
Enjoy ample resting areas for those who are looking for a quiet place to relax in the lazy mid-afternoon sun or after a busy a day spent exploring. Check out the gorgeous ocean views on the sundecks. Whether you feel like getting a little sun on your vacation, or you want the best place to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets over the Galapagos Islands, the sundecks are the best place to be.
For those with a thirst for knowledge, look in the “book nook” (the onboard mini-library) for a few books on the Islands in order to learn even more about what you’ve seen during the day. There is also a small TV room with a flat screen monitor and DVD player, perfect for a movie night.
A great bar and lounge area is available where you will be served by a bartender who will be happy to attend to all your wants and needs whilst you relax. The open-air Jacuzzi is ready for your enjoyment and midnight relaxation.
You will find that apart from being a spacious and comfortable yacht, the Journey I carries state of the art navigation and communication equipment on board. It also carries snorkeling gear, wetsuits, sea kayaks and other amenities for your entertainment.

TWIN CABINS
6 twin bed cabins (14 m2 / 151 square feet each) are located in the main deck. All cabins have individually controlled air conditioning, private bath facilities with full shower, hot water and ocean view windows. All cabins are above the water level enabling you to open your windows and enjoy the fresh seabreeze.
SUITES
2 suite cabins (18 m2 / 193 square feet each) are located on the upper deck. Upper deck suites have sofa bed to accommodate triple occupancy. All cabins have individually controlled air conditioning, private bath facilities with full shower, hot water and ocean view windows. All cabins are above the water level enabling you to open your windows and enjoy the fresh seabreeze.

SHORE EXCURSIONS
Shore excursions are packed full of several activities and lots of fun. A typical visit to a landing site includes a nature hike, zodiac ride, snorkeling or kayaking and of course time out to relax on the beach. Throughout these activities, your guide will bring out the best of the Islands, sharing knowledge and fun facts about the Islands natural history.
FINE DINING AND CUISINE
Each meal on board is a treat for the taste buds as the chef prepares the finest international and local dishes using fresh ingredients of the highest quality. All meals include the choice of meat, poultry or seafood. Dietary choices and needs are gladly accommodated. Salads are freshly tossed and fresh fruit is always available. You will also find a selection of the best wines from around the world to compliment your meals, as well as a wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages.

All of the guides aboard the Journey I are certified by the Galapagos National Park and Knowledgeable guides have gone through intensive training programs. They have years of experience and a strong passion for sharing their knowledge of the wildlife, biology, geology and natural history of the islands.
