* The Sea Adventurer will undergo a multi-million-dollar renovation effective June 2017 and be renamed Ocean Adventurer. *

Built in 1976, the Sea Adventurer has been completely refitted and renovated for 2017, including the addition of private bathrooms in all suites and cabins, a sleek new look, modern design, and upgrades in many of the public spaces. With a capacity for up to 117 passengers, this vessel was made specifically for exploration of the polar waters and the renovation has even added two new engines, generators, a drive system, and re-bladed propellers to this ice-strengthened polar ship.

Seven classes of cabins are spread between four of the ship's six decks, from twins & triples to superior, deluxe, and suite cabins, each offering explorers a comfortable place to rest and recharge at the end of each exciting day.

While you are onboard, your every need will be induldged at the bar, lounge, presentation room, gym, and dining options with a masterful chef who can accommodate whatever dietary restrictions you may have.

When you're off the boat, the itineraries truly live up to the ship's name, granting you access to some of the most beautiful natural environments in the world. Activities range from zodiac cruising, kayaking, optional camping, hiking, and even snow-shoeing on the polar expeditions.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
