Constructed in 1998 for intimate Patagonia cruises, the Cahuella is a 50-foot motor yacht named after a mythic dolphin that swims with the legendary ghost ship, El Caleuche, that is believed to sail the waters around Chiloe protecting wildlife and good souls.

The whimsical color scheme of her hull belies the Cahuella's rich wooden interior and cozy cabins. The Cahuella features four double guest cabins (two with upper/lower berths, one cabin with two twin beds, and one with a double bed) and two heads (bathrooms) with showers. The yacht is crewed by a Chilean Navy certified captain, first mate, and machinist, a talented cook, and a bilingual guide. Liability insurance is provided by Cruz del Sur, the largest insurance company in Chile.
