Make It Yours
This afternoon we visit the San Cristobal giant tortoise breeding center to learn more about the Galapagos National Park's conservation programs.
This afternoon we head to Pitt Point and take a hike up volcanic rock, offering up amazing views along the way! If we're lucky, we might just catch a glimpse of all three Booby species: Blue-footed, Red-footed and Nazca.
This afternoon affords many wildlife viewing opportunities, including possible encounters with sea turtles and the Galapagos Penguin!
In the afternoon we travel to the amazing Chinese Hat Islet, located off the Southeastern tip of Santiago. Take a scenic hike that begins on white sandy beaches full of sea lions, marine iguanas, lava lizards, American Oystercatchers, and Sally Lightfoot crabs. Then follow a trail through well preserved remnants of volcanic rock that are not found anywhere else in this condition, as well as lava tubes and lava flows. After the hike, take the opportunity to snorkel and swim among tropical fish, sea lions, and Galapagos penguins.
After our visit to the reserve, transfer to the airport for your flight back to mainland Ecuador.
