Private Independent Travel

Take an incredible journey through the unique world of the Galapagos on this 10-day adventure. Spend your days exploring the archipelago, encountering sea lions, Galapagos penguins, frigate birds, flightless cormorants, tortoises, and many more incredible native species. Have the chance to really immerse yourself in the magnificent wonder of these islands and enjoy a plethora of awesome activities including kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, and wandering the trails of this magnificent archipelago.

Day 1

    Arrive Guayaquil. Overnight Hotel.

    Arrive at the Guayaquil airport and transfer to your hotel.

    Day 2

      Fly Baltra. Embark the Endeavour.

      In the morning, fly to Baltra and take the provided transportation to the Endeavour. Explore the ship and attend a lecture about the islands.

      Day 3

        North Seymour - Rabida

        Travel to North Seymour, an uplifted and flat island which is strewn with boulders. Walk among frigatebird colonies and view Blue-footed boobies as they perform their courtship dance. Snorkel in shallows and watch sea lions body surf in the waves.

        In the afternoon, head to Rábida Island and its red sand beaches in search of flamingos, doves and mockingbirds.

        Day 4


          Visit Espinosa Point to view hundreds of marine iguanas as they gather on the black lava rocks. Walk around to see the various lava flows.

          Day 5


            Journey to Elizabeth Bay to visit its marine visitor site. Watch Galápagos hawks soar overhead and see schools of pompana as they swim beneath you.

            Sail for Urbina Bay to see see turtles and rays. Take a short trail which leads to a coral reef. The area is abundant with marine iguanas, flightless cormorants and pelicans.

            Day 6


              Begin the day at Espumilla beach on the northern coast of Santiago. Enjoy the lovely coastline and watch for nesting sea turtles.

              In the afternoon, travel to Puerto Egas, also on Santiago. Puerto Egas is a black sand beach on the west side of the island, rich in history and volcanic tuff deposits.

              Day 7

                Santa Cruz Island

                Visit Black Turtle Cove to see blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, sea turtles, golden cownose rays, spotted eagle rays, and the occasional hammerhead shark.

                Day 8

                  San Cristobal

                  Visit the Interpretation Center to learn about the history and biodiversity of the Galápagos Islands. Take an informative self-guided walking tour to view Galapagos conservation at work.

                  Day 9

                    Disembark the Endeavour in San Cristobal. Fly Guayaquil. Overnight Hotel.

                    Disembark the Endeavour in San Cristobal and transfer to your hotel.

                    Day 10

                      Depart Guayaquil for home.

                      Fly from Sn Cristobal to Guayaquil and connect to your onward flights.
