This 7-day western islands cruise on the ship, Eric, Letty or Flamingo, explores the islands of Genovesa, Fernandina, Santiago and more!

Day 1

San Cristobal

San Cristobal is the easternmost island in the Galapagos archipelago and, geologically, one of the oldest. Spot nesting colonies of Frigatebirds and cruise around Kicker Rock, a cone formation which rises nearly 500 feet from the surface of the sea.

Day 2

Genovesa

Visit Genovesa, a shield volcano. Rich in birdlife, Genovesa stretches about five miles and is filled with salt water. Hike up the wooden trail of Prince Philip's Steps. Once at the top, explore the area and take in the extraordinary panoramic views.

Day 3

Santa Cruz Island

Travel by bus to the highlands of Santa Cruz Island. Watch the quickly changing scenery as it covers each of the Galapagos' seven vegetation zones.

In the afternoon, stop at the tunnels, the largest lava tubes found in Galapagos, before visiting Los Gemelos and the Charles Darwin Research Station.

Day 4

Fernandina - Isabela

Explore the island of Fernandina, Isabela, the youngest of the Galapagos Islands. An active shield volcano which last erupted in 2009, the island is mostly rocky and not hospitable to animals. Watch oystercatchers and sally light-foot crabs skirt across the rocks.

Day 5

Isabela

Striding the equator, Isabela is the largest of the islands and features flora and fauna unique even to the Galapagos! Home to more wild tortoises than any of the other islands, Isabela entrances travelers with its close encounters and rich history.

Day 6

Santiago - Rabida

Day 7

  • Breakfast

Santa Cruz Island - Baltra

Sail to Baltra and transfer to the airport for your connection to the mainland.
