Private Independent Travel

Get ready to enjoy an awesome 4-day adventure that explores the highlights of the central and eastern islands of the Galapagos. Indulge yourself in the picturesque beauty of the unique landscape, relax on the beach, do some exploratory snorkeling, and wander through the islands of this archipelago. This covers some of the most amazing islands of the Galapagos and will leave you wanting to come back for more.

Day 1

    Baltra - Mosquera

Arrive to the Galapagos and transfer by bus to your ship, the Galapagos Legend. This afternoon we travel to Mosquera Islet, home to one of the Galapagos Islands' sea lion colonies.

    Day 2

South Plaza Island - Santa Fe

This morning we travel to South Plaza Island, home of the Galapagos hybrid iguana. In the afternoon, we visit Santa Fe Island where we search for Galapagos wildlife such as sea lions, iguanas, and the Galapagos Hawk!

      Day 3

        San Cristobal

Today we explore the island of San Cristobal. In the morning we head to Pitt Point and take a hike up volcanic rock, offering up amazing views along the way! If we're lucky, we might just catch a glimpse of all three Booby species: Blue-footed, Red-footed and Nazca.

This afternoon we stop at Cerro Brujo, an eroding volcanic cone comprised of interesting lava formations. We also visit a lagoon in search of migratory bird species such as the Ruddy Turnstone.

        Day 4

          San Cristobal

This morning we visit the San Cristobal giant tortoise breeding center to learn more about the Galapagos National Park's conservation programs.

After our visit, you are transferred to the airport for your flight back to mainland Ecuador.
