Day 1: Baltra | Santa Cruz | Embark

  • Ship
  • 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Arrive in Baltra and be escorted to your ship, the Galaxy II.

Start your Galapagos adventure with a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Center on Santa Cruz. Here, you can learn about the protection and conservation of the islands, as well as the breeding, rearing, and protection of Galapagos tortoises.

Day 2: Floreana, Cormorant Point | Post Office Bay

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Start your day hiking and snorkeling on Punta Cormorant, Floreana. Here, you can observe one of the best flamingo lagoons in the Galapagos. The lagoon is situated between two tuff lava cones that give the area a special atmosphere. Besides flamingos, you may also see common stilts, white-checked pintails and other migratory birds. Then walk along two distinct beaches. One is a green-colored olivine beach, and the other an iron-red beach.

Head to Post Office Bay in the afternoon, where you can hike, swim, snorkel, and mail a postcard in the same barrel mailbox that British whalers once used!

Day 3: Espanola, Suarez Point | Gardner Bay

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Begin today on Suarez Point, a rocky area that sustains one of the most varied and impressive colonies of sea birds in the Galapagos, including blue-footed boobies and albatrosses. Climb the high cliffs to get a spectacular view.

After lunch, hike, swim, and snorkel in the beautiful waters of Gardner Bay. You may even be able to observe sharks in the crystal clear waters.

Day 4: San Cristobal | Disembark | Airport

  • 1 Breakfast
Spend your morning in the Interpretation Center on San Cristobal. Here, you can learn all about how the islands were formed, ocean currents, the arrival of different species in the Galapagos, and many other natural circumstances that have made the Galapagos Islands what they are today.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
