Move on to Punta Suarez in the afternoon, a rocky outcropping on Española's southern shore. This site provides habitat for the largest, most varied populations of sea birds in the Galapagos. Watch as birds soar along the cliffs, dodging the spectacular water spouts and pounding surf.
This morning, travel to Punta Cormorant on Floreana Island. One of the largest lagoons in the Galapagos is found here, along with one of the strongest colonies of flamingos. Observe various species of shore birds amid the tuff lava cones, and visit the two distinctive beaches of Punta Cormorant: the Green Beach, made up of olivine crystals, and the white coral Flour Sand Beach.

Santa Fe Island has a unique history in relation to the rest of the Galapagos. It was formed by and uplift, rather than a volcano, and is therefore considerably flatter and distinctive. This morning, explore Santa Fe's trails, spot sea lions, and snorkel along the crystal clear shore.
After Santa Fe, head to South Plaza Island. Although small, South Plaza is home to some of the archipelago's most unique and interesting wildlife species. Notable among these are the marine, land, and hybrid iguanas.

It provides ideal habitat for magnificent frigate birds, blue-footed boobies, and sea lions. Wander through the island and along the rocky shore, taking in the spectacular scenery.
Head to Bachas Beach in the afternoon, located on Santa Cruz Island. Made up of decomposed coral, Bachas' soft, white sand provides a perfect nesting site for sea turtles. Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

I spoke with at least a half dozen other travel companies, looking for a Galapagos cruise that fit our schedule and budget. Some companies could manage one or the other, but Erin was the only one who could do both. She found us the perfect cruise, at a fantastic price! And she has been quick and patient with responses to my many questions. So far, Adventure Life has been a fantastic company to work with!
