Port details pending.
Day 4: Taormina, Sicily
Taormina stands out against the slopes of Mount Tauro in the heart of a picturesque and charming location. The town’s alleyways and gardens tumble down the mountain to the Ionian Sea. Its ancient Greek theater is the second largest in Sicily, after the theater at Syracuse, and offers a magnificent panorama with the majestic Mount Etna, its lava flows still smoking, in the background.
Day 5: Palermo, Sicily / Cruising around Stromboli
Cradled in the arms of a magnificent sweeping bay, Sicily’s capital never fails to win over the visitor. A crossroads between East and West civilizations since time immemorial, Palermo has been indeniably marked by the diverse cultures which have passed this way. The charm of this city of a thousand contrasts owes much to the special ambiance which prevails. The old town with its historic center, and particularly the impressive 12th century cathedral, bear witness to a glorious past.
Day 6: Amalfi, Italy / Sailing the Amalfi Coast
Since time immemorial, artists and travelers have fallen under the spell of these tiny villages lost amidst the orange and olive groves, the vineyards and bougainvillea. Amalfi and nearby Ravello, suspended between sea and sky, are the jewels of the Amalfi Coast. There is so much natural beauty to be admired here, including some magnificent gardens.
Day 7: Bonifacio, Corsica
Perched precariously on a high rocky promontory, Bonifacio (Corsica) occupies a very special place in the Corsican landscape, particularly when viewed from the sea. A fortress city atop white limestone and granite cliffs that have been sculpted by wind and waves, Bonifacio’s historic medieval heart of tall, narrow houses and winding cobblestone streets is protected by an impressive citadel wall embellished with square towers: a beautiful sight.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

Adventure Life has been an extraordinary travel resource for us over the years and today was no exception. Our River Cruise booking was handled by Jess (who has been our personal trip planner for several years) the same day as our inquiry. Suggestions were given for cabin choice and pre-trip options (that were not shown on the cruise line's website) like airport transfers and prepaid gratuities. Trip insurance recommendations followed and we were assigned a travel co-ordinator till the end of the tour. All we have to do is show up! Great service from friendly folks.

Our travel was flawless! The rider pickup (airport, hotel, ship) was seamless. Jane's recommendation for Emerald Cruise Sakara was everything I wanted but the experience was soooo much more. Adventure Life took care of each and every detail and this was the easiest of all my travels.
