Explore the natural sites and cities steeped in history of the Baltic Sea.
Architectural gems in the Baroque style, churches with domes so elaborate they seem otherworldly, palaces, fountains, gardens, canals, and the famous "perspectives" that criss-cross the city: at each street corner a new theatrical decor is revealed. We invite you to visit this colourful city where the atmosphere is rich with the splendor of the Tsars and the traces of the Russian Enlightenment.
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Arrive in Copenhagen. Board Le Boreal between 4 and 5 PM. Settle into your cabin and familiarize yourself with the ship and her crew.
Day 2: At Sea
Continue to acquaint yourself with the ship. Take advantage of on-board amenities or enjoy the sea breeze from the ship's deck.
Day 3: Tallinn, Estonia
The capital of Eestonia, Tallinn is brimming with history and secrets. This great metropolis was particularly active in the medieval period and has preserved some beautiful monuments from that time. You can lose yourself in the heart of this city which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Choose from several optional excursions to further discover this unique city.
Day 4-6: St. Petersburg, Russia
St. Petersburg was the capital of the Russian Empire from 1712 to its collapse in 1917. Its well-preserved ensemble of architecture from this period makes it one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe. There is so much to see here: Pavlovski Palace (the tsar's summer residence), Peter and Paul Fortress, the Pushkin Museum, the magnificent Saint Isaac’s Cathedral and of course the world-renowned Hermitage Museum where more than three million items are on display. The pomp and ceremony of the tsars still hang in the air of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
Over the course of your three days in port, explore this magnificent city on a variety of both full-day and half-day optional excursions.
Day 7: Helsinki, Finland

With its blend of European, Scandinavian and Russian influences, Helsinki is a city of contrasts. The city's variety of architectural styles are the perfect reflection of it's multicultural past. On your own or with a guide, discover the Lutheran temple of Temppeliaukion that was dug from the rocks, Finlandia Hall, the palace of Concerts, designed by Aalto or the magnificent Orthodox cathedral.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

The ability (of Kassandra) to tailor a guided trip to my exact preferences is very valuable to me, as well as the ability (of Kassandra) to provide expert guidance on destinations and travel dates. I also appreciate the ability of the backup staff (Maria Ignacio, Exito Travel) to coordinate all the details to make the travel logistics easy for the customer.

Our Costa Rica trip was amazing! Kassandra planned everything and the excursions, hotels, overall organization were outstanding. Everything worked out smoothly, the excursions guides were knowledgeable allowing us to see so much of the fauna and flora of the country. The hotels were great as well, all in fantastic locations and with beautiful views.
