Day 1 Paris to Stockholm, Sweden

Your cruise fare includes a flight from Paris is Stockholm. Upon arrival in Stockholm, meet and greet at the airport. Embark your coach for the city centre to the Gamla Stan district. Gamla Stan translates as “old town” and is one of the best preserved medieval historic centres in Europe. It is where Stockholm was founded. You are free to stroll around the narrow, winding streets at your leisure or to pop into one of the many churches and museums. You will have an hour for lunch on your own or time at leisure to buy souvenirs before being taken to the port to board your ship, the Le Boreal.

Day 2 Visby, Sweden

Port details pending.

Day 3 Copenhagen, Denmark

Discover one of the oldest kingdoms in the world and the home of the Little Mermaid... Mainland Denmark is a land of water, sea and watercolors. The Jutland peninsula, thrusting between the North Sea and the Baltic, forms the mainland and is surrounded by hundreds of islands of all sizes. The colors are gentle, the green of the countryside is omnipresent, and the low beams of light are superbly golden during certain summer evenings. Copenhagen, capital of Denmark, is the largest city in Scandinavia, with more than one million inhabitants. Blending the dynamism of a metropolis and the quality of life of a small town, Copenhagen offers you its picturesque neighborhoods and its colorful quaysides. An astute blend of softness, elegance and vitality.

Day 4 At Sea

Relax and enjoy cruising toward Norway.

Day 5 Bergen, Norway

The rows of brightly painted gabled houses are undoubtedly the best-known image of medieval Norway. Located at the end of Byfjord, and dominated by the surrounding peaks, Bergen was the capital of Norway in the 12th and 13th century and has preserved some very beautiful monuments from the time when it was home to royalty. Wandering through Bergen’s streets means going back in time, in search of the hidden treasures that have been listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. A veritable open-air museum, Bergen is home to a thriving artistic community of painters, potters, jewelers.

Day 6 Geiranger, Norway

This modest mountain village is located in a beautiful landscape and takes part among the most famous in the country. Nestled at the Geirangerfjord, surrounded with high mountains, Geiranger keeps its rustic atmosphere, consolidated by a strong torrent tumbling down the banks of the fjord and by a small wooden church for 150 years.

Day 7 At Sea

Enjoy one last full day aboard the Le Boreal.

Day 8 Bodo, Norway to Paris.

Disembark this morning. Prior to your included flight to Paris visit of Bodø, including the Norwegian Aviation Museum and Bodin Church. Bodø, located at a latitude of 67°17’N, is the capital of the county of Nordland. It has 46, 000 inhabitants and is the second largest city of northern Norway. It is situated on a peninsula on a beautiful stretch of coastline, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, with Børvasstindene mountains in the south, and Landegode Island and Lofoten Islands in the north.

Visit one of Norway's most fascinating museums. The Norwegian Aviation Museum is situated in a building shaped like a gigantic propeller, and deals with both military and civil aviation. Experience aviation and its fascinating history. See famous and infamous aircrafts like the Spitfire, the Twin Otter and the U-2 spyplane at close quarters.

In northern Norway, there are only seven medieval churches left. They are all built of stone. In Bodø, Bodin Church was built in 1894 on its medieval foundations, using partly medieval stones. You can observe their layout and decoration, and learn more about medieval northern Norway.

Enjoy lunch at the Rica Hotel (or similar) before transferring to the airport. Board a direct flight to Paris chartered by Le Boreal, arriving into Paris in the evening. Upon arrival continue on your journey home or enjoy a few days in this splendid city.
