The rows of brightly painted gabled houses are undoubtedly the best-known image of medieval Norway. This modest mountain village is located in a beautiful landscape and takes part among the most famous in the country. Day 7: At Sea
Enjoy one last full day aboard the Le Boreal.
Day 8: Bodo, Norway to Paris.
Disembark this morning. Prior to your included flight to Paris visit of Bodø, including the Norwegian Aviation Museum and Bodin Church. It is situated on a peninsula on a beautiful stretch of coastline, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, with Børvasstindene mountains in the south, and Landegode Island and Lofoten Islands in the north.
Visit one of Norway's most fascinating museums. The Norwegian Aviation Museum is situated in a building shaped like a gigantic propeller, and deals with both military and civil aviation. Experience aviation and its fascinating history. See famous and infamous aircrafts like the Spitfire, the Twin Otter and the U-2 spyplane at close quarters.
In northern Norway, there are only seven medieval churches left. They are all built of stone. In Bodø, Bodin Church was built in 1894 on its medieval foundations, using partly medieval stones. You can observe their layout and decoration, and learn more about medieval northern Norway.

Adventure Life has been an extraordinary travel resource for us over the years and today was no exception. Our River Cruise booking was handled by Jess (who has been our personal trip planner for several years) the same day as our inquiry. Suggestions were given for cabin choice and pre-trip options (that were not shown on the cruise line's website) like airport transfers and prepaid gratuities. Trip insurance recommendations followed and we were assigned a travel co-ordinator till the end of the tour. All we have to do is show up! Great service from friendly folks.

Our travel was flawless! The rider pickup (airport, hotel, ship) was seamless. Jane's recommendation for Emerald Cruise Sakara was everything I wanted but the experience was soooo much more. Adventure Life took care of each and every detail and this was the easiest of all my travels.
