This city’s origins date back to the early Vikings, and yet Dublin has raised itself to rank among the most beautiful of European metropolises. Day 6 Cobh / Cork, Ireland
Cobh is undeniably the prettiest port in Ireland and it is from this charming little town that you will leave to explore the rich history of Cork going as far back as the Vikings. Today Cork is a dynamic, modern town that in 2005 was chosen to be the European Capital of Culture. Here you will discover the famous, truly awe-inspiring Blarney Castle, a historic site dating back to 1446 and steeped in legends and mythical old stones, including of course the famous Blarney Stone.
