For those who love diving, the word Maldives is synonymous with excellent scuba-diving. Fringed by white sandy beaches and coconut trees, the various atolls are open invitations to dive or snorkel in turquoise lagoons teeming with thousands of multi-coloured fish.
Day 5 South Ari Atoll (Maldives)
To take full advantage of the nautical activities on offer, Le Ponant will be hovering alongside some of the most isolated atolls, including the superb coral reef at Felidhe which is literally teeming with shoals of fish. Experience the privilege of a relaxing cruise aboard Le Ponant, crafted to respect the tradition of famous sailing yachts. Following in the nautical tradition of three-masted sailing ship, Le Ponant will take you on a voyage of discovery. The ship capacity limited to 64 passengers provides intimacy and convivial atmosphere to the cruise. The refined life on board, the welcoming charm of your cabin, the lounges and the restaurants setting are as many invitations to relax.

Restaurant and Bars:
Discreet yet attentive service, French Cuisine and reception in the 2 restaurants respect our best traditions. The Diamant Restaurant and the Panoramic Restaurant offer a high quality cuisine and can host 67 guests. Both are widely open to the sea. Of course tribute is paid to the great French gastronomic tradition, accompanied by a selection of red, white and rosé wines free of charge during meals. A fine wine list is also available to you. At lunchtime a delicious buffet is served on the terrace, while evening menus are more elaborate in the refined paneled décor of the Karukéra Restaurant where you dine at the table of your choice. Later in the bar, a pianist entertains guests.
Life Onboard:
Tasteful sophistication favouring life in the open air is our philosophy.Le Ponant has plenty of space including a large comfortable lounge, two restaurants one with a terrace, and a vast sun deck from which to admire the 1500 m˛ of sail. There is also a platform just above sea level from which you can gaze at the marine life below or enjoy the water sports. The public rooms are flexible and able to receive all the passengers at once for conferences, presentations, or work sessions. Enjoy meeting people in the Emeraude Lounge, relaxing in the Saphir Lounge, having a walk on the Sun Deck.
