Day 1 Nice, France / Embark

Embark this evening and settle into your accommodations.

Day 2 Girolata, Corsica / Porto, Corsica

At the very tip of the Girolata Peninsula, at the heart of the maritime side of the Corsica Regional Nature Park (Parc Naturel Régional de Corse), discover the Scandola reserve with its abrupt ochre and red rock cliffs plunging into a crystal sea. Dominated by its Genoese fort and the houses clinging to the mountain slopes, Girolata is one of the emblematic sites of the island. A veritable haven of peace, this hamlet lies nonchalantly along the slopes of Mount Senino.

North of the Gulf of Porto (Corsica), sail along the magnificent unspoiled coastline of the Scandola Nature Reserve, one of Corsica’s most famous landscapes. Here you will discover the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Piana Calanches, towering multi-hued granite cliffs which plunge into the sea, jagged and furrowed by erosion into a vast abstract sculpture.

Day 3 Bonifacio, Corsica

As you sail along the coast, discover landscapes of a rare intensity: craggy coastlines or smooth rounded shores, parasol pines or steely cacti, inlets of crystal water or cliffs that overhang the sea – Welcome to Corsica! The secretive Island of Beauty is yours to see and to discover. Like a narrow rocky headland of white limestone, Bonifacio remains an unmissable destination within an exceptional site, a magnificent "end of the world" at the south of the Island.

Day 4 Sailing along the Lavezzi Islands

Sail around the Lavezzi Islands, lying in the nature reserve of the Strait of Bonifacio between Corsica and Sardinia. This magnificently preserved group of islands forms one of the most beautiful marine reserves of the Island of Beauty, a veritable sanctuary for the marine flora and fauna. The islands lie in a sea of turquoise and emerald, the colour changing according to the sky. A paradise for divers, an Eden for walkers, this little haven of peace made up of a hundred or so islets is a delight for pleasure cruisers. An idyllic setting from where flamboyant beaches of white sand stretch into the distance, bordered by crystal blue water. This is undoubtedly the ideal setting for a lazy day enjoying the Mediterranean sunshine.

Day 5 Portoferraio, Italy

The island of Elba is at the heart of the Tuscan Archipelago and presents a finely chiselled profile sheltering many unspoiled coves. roman churches, Medicean fortresses and memories of Napoleon blend into the picture postcard that is Portoferraio (Italy). It is one of the oldest towns on the island, the Ligurians, Etruscans and Greeks having shaped its history before it became a Roman colony. Here you can follow in the footsteps of Napoleon as you wind your way through the pastel-coloured houses protected by the two Medicean forts.

Day 6 Lerici, Italy

Facing Portovenere, the little town of Lerici lies at the eastern tip of the “Gulf of Poets", dominated by the imposing castle built in the 13th century by Pisani. It is from here that you will set out to discover Pisa, a peaceful, pleasant town in the heart of Tuscany which has the atmosphere of a small capital. Over the centuries, Pisa has preserved remarkable testimonies to its former grandeur. Its yellow, pink and ochre facades make it less austere than Florence, and combine with its aristocratic charm, gentle way of life and quite unrivalled light. The town is almost entirely surrounded by walls, and entrance is through narrow gateways, from where you will be able to see the famous Leaning Tower.

Day 7 Portovenere, Italy

Built on a rocky peninsula of the very beautiful "Gulf of the Poets ", Portovenere raises its colored houses around its small picturesque harbors. Its alleys lead to a fortress which offers a magnificent panorama. Registered on the World heritage by the UNESCO, Portovenere, Genoese heiress of the XIIth century, has preserved a very unique charm. It is from Portovenere that you will go off to explore of the magnificent National park of Five Earth.
