Literally meaning the “Port” (Havn) of the Scandinavian god of Thunder and Lightning "Thor", Torshavn, located at the southern end of the largest island in the chain, proudly bears the title of Capital of the Faroe Isles. This is the place where many centuries earlier the “Thing”, an assembly of free men from the ancient Germanic governmental societies of Northern Europe, was held. Bolstered by its key role within this autonomous region of the Kingdom of Denmark, Torshavn can claim to be one of the most spectacular and unusual destinations in the world. Sail to the heart of the Faroe Isles and discover the work of the sea that, over the centuries, has carved immense caves and tunnels from the rocks. Le Soleal

- Luxury Expedition Ship
A sleek silhouette, a welcoming intimate atmosphere, discover aboard the ship Le Soleal the philosophy that has made her sister ships such a success: the spirit of yacht cruises.
Sailing under the French flag, this magnificent yacht of only 132 staterooms and suites with balconies will join her sister ships in 2013. You will be enchanted by the contemporary decor inspired by the luxury yachting world, with fluid lines and a modern color scheme combining natural wood with shades of grey and white.
A refined ambiance is enhanced by the quality of the workmanship and materials: white Corian counters in the lobby contrast with the warmth of leather to recall a boat’s hull, while the central sculpture of enameled pieces takes its inspiration from the sea. In the lounge/bar, the carpet picks up a tennis stripe theme symbolizing a certain idea of cruising, one synonymous with French elegance and a chic seaside spirit.
