Board the M/V Manatee for this fascinating 4-day itinerary on the Amazon river. Visit remote villages and sail through unique and fragile ecosystems on your luxurious small-ship voyage.

Day 1

Quito / Coca / Napo River / Yasuni National Park

Arrive in Coca and transfer to the docks to embark on a motorized canoe. Navigate down the river for about 90 minutes before meeting the M/V Manatee.

Immediately after boarding the M/V Manatee, begin to navigate downstream. Settle in to your cabin and familiarize yourself with the ship as you sail. In the evening, disembark and take an evening walk to experience the forest's nocturnal activity.

    Day 2

Continue down the Panayacu River delta and stop to take a canoe trip up to experience the sights and sounds of this fascinating reserve. Seek out Pink River Dolphins and Common Squirrel Monkeys. PaƱacocha is an ecosystem which is flooded by white waters. The rivers and lakes are the perfect habitat for the infamous Piranha, Water Monkey Fish, and White Caiman. Enjoy a delicious Amazon-style BBQ meal and refreshing beverages at a nearby camping site. In the afternoon, disembark and hike the trails that circle the area.

      Day 3

        Parrot's Clay Licks-SaniWarmi/Yasuni National Park

Head over to the Parrot Clay Licks, a great place to witness one of the most exciting wildlife spectacles in the Amazon. In the afternoon, visit the Sani Warmi Kichwa Interpretation Center, where a group of Kichwa women will dicuss their customs, cuisine, and everyday life.

        Day 4

          Disembark

In the morning, disembark the M/V Manatee and transfer back by motorized canoe to Coca before catching your flight back to Quito.
