Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Arrive at the San Cristobal airport and transfer to the Millennium.
Begin your Galapagos tour on Isla Lobos (Sea Lion Island) to interact with the sea lions which rest on its shores. Home to blue-footed boobies, great frigatebirds, brown pelicans, lava gulls, common noddies, yellow warblers and small and medium ground finches, the island is also an ideal location for birders. Snorkel with the sea lions and relax on the beach.
Visit León Dormido (Kicker Rock), a distinctive island which features two rocks which jut out of the ocean. This formation is home to a large colony of sea birds. Snorkel with a variety of fish and the occasional Galapagos shark.
Journey to Suarez Point, one of the most significantly wild-life rich locations in the Galapagos archipelago. View marine iguanas and over-sized lava lizards as they sun themselves on the rocks.
In the afternoon, travel to Gardner Bay to snorkel with a variety of fish. Hope to see the occasional turtle or shark which swim in the waters off the island.
Visit Baroness’ Observatory for exceptional views of La Loberia. Learn the history of the island while exploring the lookout.
Sail for Post Office Bay, a sandy beach where past whalers used to leave and receive their letters in a barrel. Take part in the tradition by leaving an addressed postcard in the barrel. Additionally, pick up any letters within close proximity to your home to deliver once you return from the Galapagos.
Day 6: Santa Cruz Island - Charles Darwin Center - Baltra
1 Breakfast
Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn about the natural history of the islands and the effects of human involvement. See the tortoise breeding and rearing project at work.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.

The info on the website was laid out very well. I did some comparisons with other tours and found Adventure Life met a lot of what I wanted in an Antarctica trip at the cheapest price. Requested a quote on Claudia contacted me right away. She answered a lot of questions the I had via email even though she offered to discuss via phone call. I’m more of an email person so appreciated how she accommodated that and answered all my questions. And when I was ready to book, she quickly got the ball rolling with getting our spots reserved on the trip my friend and I wanted. Thanks again, Claudia!

(1) great information on the website and throughout all the "materials." (2) Jane Packer is great: knowledgeable, responsive, takes a personal interest and tone, seems to care about the customer as a person not a sale.

For our first trip to Costa Rica, Adventure Life designed a tour that meets the interests, ecological and adventure, of our party; but also takes into account our physical limitations sine we are all septuagenarian. We are looking forward to the trip.
