The 65-passenger Oceanic Discoverer was introduced to the world of sailing vessels in 2005. Her sleek, small size makes her ideal for regional exploration and navigating through channels and fjords.

Guests on board the Oceanic Discoverer enjoy access for four decks. Common areas are located on the Main Deck, Bridge Deck, and Sun Deck. The Main Deck offers offers the dining room, the Bridge Deck features a lounge and the bridge, and the Sun Deck features a spa pool and observation area. The bridge is available to visit throughout most times of the day, depending on weather, security, and navigation conditions. There is not an elevator on board.

Each of the staterooms aboard the Oceanic Discoverer feature ocean views in a variety of window sizes, two twin beds or a double bed, a sitting area, well-appointed en suite bathroom, large closets, and individually-controlled air conditioning.

The dining room is large enough to accommodate all guests in one seating, and features large outside windows so guests may enjoy the passing views as they dine. Most dietary restrictions can be catered for on board, but special requests must be made in advance. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day. The dining room features the finest fresh seafood of the region and a comprehensive selection of Australian and New Zealand wines. Additional amenities include two fully-stocked cocktail bars, wireless Internet, and laundry service. Rates are posted on board. The Australian dollar is used on board, and Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners Club are accepted for payment of shipboard accounts.

The Oceanic Discoverer carries Zodiacs, a glassbottom boat, and a powerful aluminum excursion boat.
