Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Arrive in Greece. Make your way to Marina Zea where you embark your vessel, the Panorama II, between 2-3 p.m. Once on board, enjoy a welcome cocktail reception where you can get to know your fellow travelers and the ship's crew. In the evening, set sail and enjoy a welcome dinner. Overnight at sea to Ios.
In the morning, stop for a refreshing swim at Manganari Beach in Ios, one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. Go ashore and take a cable car to the town of Fira, a stunning duster of white buildings atop a cliff. Join an optional tour this afternoon to Akrotiri, a city buried in the eruption that created the caldera in 1600 BC. The tour ends in Oia, a city famous for its sunset. Overnight at sea en route to Patmos.
Arrive in Patmos and join an optional excursion to discover more in this port town. Your tour includes two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Grotto and Monastery of St. John, and the history center of the medieval town of Chora. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure either exploring the region's capital, Scala, or swimming at a nearby beach.
Arrive in Kusadasi early in the morning. Drive to ancient Ephesus on an optional tour: the greatest archeological site in the Aegean region. As you tour this remarkably preserved Greek and Roman city, you may feel as if you're about to encounter a toga-garbed resident or hear a chariot clattering down the main avenue - the same avenue down which Cleopatra and Mark Anthony rode in procession more than 2,000 years ago. After lunch and some free time, sail to the Island of Samos. In the afternoon, the ship arrives in the quaint port of Pythagorion. Here, enjoy a swim, walk the narrow alleys of the city, or relax at one of the numerous sea-side cafes. Overnight at sea to Delos and Mykonos.
Sail into the white and blue Cyclades. Enjoy an optional visit to tiny Delos, the mythical birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. On an optional guided walking tour, visit the archeological ruins of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, unearthed here in the 19th century. Delos is a true open-air museum with many ancient monuments and buildings that are remarkably intact. After a 2-hour walking tour, sail into a beautiful bay for a refreshing swim stop and lunch. Later in the afternoon, sail into Mykonos Harbor. Discover its brilliant white houses and stroll along its narrow walkways. While exploring the town, visit the archeological or the maritime museum, and don't forget to visit a bakery that has been turning out bread in wood-fired ovens since the 15th century. A great way to end this day is with a glass of ouzo and a plate of traditional "mezedes" appetizers. More adventurous travelers may want to stay out late and enjoy the islands' world-famous nightlife. Overnight in Mykonos.
At day break, leave Mykonos for the island of Tinos. Reach the beach of Ysternia for a swim stop and a barbeque. After lunch, sail into the harbor and join an optional excursion to the picturesque Tinos villages of Exovergo and Volax. Visit the island's famous basket weavers and marble sculptors of Pyrgos. Overnight in Tinos.
Leave Tinos this morning and sail to Kythnos for a swim stop and beach BBQ. Arrive in Kolones Beach for one last dip in the Aegean before reaching Cape Sounion. Arrive in time for a farewell cocktail and dinner under the stars at the Temple of Poseidon. In the evening, depart and sail overnight for Athens.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
