Dining On Board
Vacationing and dining well go hand in hand. In the well-equipped galley, the chef and his team strive to satisfy. Menus are varied and healthy. Special diets are readily accommodated and there are plenty of kid-friendly dishes.

Breakfasts are buffet style with cereals, juices, fresh fruit, toast, muffins, and hot items; eggs are cooked to order. Fresh brewed coffee, espresso, a selection of teas, milk and cocoa are served. Lunch and dinner usually consist of three courses and often start with soup or safe-to-eat salad, followed by a main course of fish, chicken, beef or seafood, or vegetarian selection upon request. Then there's dessert, coffee and tea.

The wine list is made up exclusively of Argentine and Chilean vintages. Beer is on tap, usually a pale variety appropriate to the climate, and complementary.

Meals are served at three tables, two with seating for six guests and one with seating for four guests. The booth configuration lends a comfortable, casual air to conversations.

Life On Board
Traveling aboard the Reina Silvia while cruising the Galapagos Islands is a treat. It is a pleasure to return to the Reina Silvia after a shore visit, snorkel, kayak or swim. The friendly, skilled crew and comfortable atmosphere provide the framework for a relaxing vacation. The Reina Silvia team will take care of you—your needs are anticipated and quietly provided, whether at anchor, in the panga, snorkeling, dining, or while cruising from island to island.

Relax in the salon area for guide presentations, playing games or reading a book from the Reina Silvia library. The Upper Deck lounge is a great spot for reading, drinking a cold beer, watching for whales, relaxing and enjoying the company of your fellow travelers.

The Reina Silvia carries a fleet of sea kayaks, perfect for exploring the Islands' shorelines. The aft swim platform on the Middle Deck is where guests board the pangas. Fresh water is used to clean all shoes when boarding the yacht so that no hitchhikers can jump from one Island to another, a part of Reina Silvia's conservation policies.
