Day 1: Baltra - Santa Cruz Island - Dragon Hill

Arrive at the Baltra airport and transfer to the Santa Cruz.

Begin your Galapagos cruise by sailing to and swimming at Bachas Beach, well known for its excellent swimming and snorkeling. View the floating pier which was left along the beach by American soldiers after World War II. Be on the lookout for flamingos, Sally Lightfoot crabs and hermit crabs as they sit on the rocks, black necked stilts, and whimbrels.

Day 2: Bartolome - Santiago

Sail for Bartolome to visit the famous Pinnacle rock and White Sand Beach.

In the morning, voyage to Buccaneer Cove and view where pirates used to drop anchor in order to make repairs and stock up on food supplies, such as tortoise meat. Take a trail up to the cliffs for panoramic views of the island.

Day 3: Rabida - North Seymour

Named for the color of its sand, Red Beach also features cliffs and steep slopes of volcanic cinders which are reddish in color. Hike up a short trail to a flamingo lagoon or snorkel along the reef.

In the afternoon, tour North Seymour Island. Take a 1.2 mile hike across the island and explore its rocky coast. Along the way, stop to see colonies of blue-footed boobies and frigatebirds. Watch as sea lions body surf in the waves and see if you can spot Daphne Major and Minor in the distance.

Day 4: Santa Cruz Island - Highlands - Charles Darwin Center

Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, a non-profit organization which specializes in tortoise conservation. Reach out and encounter the tortoises in their corrals.

Day 5: San Cristobal

Visit the Interpretation Center and learn about the fascinating history and biodiversity of the Galápagos Islands. Take a self-guided walking tour to familiarize yourself with this unique island chain.

Day 6: Espanola - Floreana

Sail for the island of Espanola and visit Suárez Point, one of the most spectacular wildlife areas of the archipelago. Especially rich in birdlife, view Española Island mockingbirds, Galápagos doves, and Galápagos hawks, as well as marine iguanas and over-sized lava lizards.

Day 7: Fernandina - Isabela

Journey to Espinosa Point, a narrow stretch of land where hundreds of marine iguanas sun themselves on the lava rocks. Observe the different types of lava flows and mangrove forests which line the area.

In the afternoon, sail for Vicente Roca Point to see the remnants of an ancient volcano. These two turquoise coves are well protected from ocean swells and are ideal for snorkeling. Explore the cliffs surrounding the bays and view masked and blue-footed boobies.

Day 8: Baltra

Transfer to the airport in Baltra for your connection to the mainland.
