Arrive in Singapore and board the SeaDream II. Settle in to your cabin and familiarize yourself with the ship and her crew before setting sail. Attend a welcome dinner relax into life on board.
Day 2: Pangkor Island
Arrive on Pulau Pangkor, an island just off the central Malaysian coast. The island was most likely first settled when refugees fled in the path of powerful armies which swept along the peninsula. Later, with expanding European spice trade, pirates discovered hidden Pangkor coves. The main island town is known as Pangkor Village, but beaches and plush resorts are the main attractions.
Day 3: Langkawi Island
Arrive in one of the world's best backpacker destinations, Pulau Langkawi. The largest member of the 99-island Langkawi Archipelago, Pulau Langkawi is the doorway to Malaysia's most spectacular jungle wilderness. Among the island's natural wonders in the region, visit the 2,890 ft Gunung Raya, the tallest natural formation in the area.
Day 4: Phi Phi Don Island
Sail for Ko Phi Phi, a small and striking island shaped by dramatic cliffs and sparkling sugary white sand. A flat sand bar links the eastern and western island sections. Two bays: Ao Ton Sai and Ao Loh Dalum, offer sheltered spots for those who want to enjoy sun and surf. Not surprisingly, it is also the island's main resort area. Rent a jet ski or ride a parasailing kite.
Day 5: Patong Bay
Arrive in Phuket, widely known for its fine resorts and traditional Thai culture. Visit South Phuket's Wat Chalong and its Grand Pagoda, one of the island's most revered sites, which preserves a fragment of Lord Buddha's bone. After touring the area, curl up on a quiet section of Ao Patong (Patong Beach) and soak in the tropical views. Take a short Phang Nga cruise or join your guide to ride an elephant.
Day 6: Similan Islands
Visit the tiny Similan Archipelago, a crystaline area which inspires travelers with the remarkable blue color of its waters. Preserved as Mu Ko Similan National Park, the island beaches are equal to the thousands of blue shades that surround them. The waters are rich in colorful marine life and are ideal for snorkeling.
Day 7: 115 Island
Arrive in 115 Island, one of the Mergui Archipelago's 800 islands which line the Malay Peninsula like sugar crystals.
Day 8-9: Pila Kyun Island, Mergui Archipelago
Continue to explore the Mergui Archipelago. There are no permanent communities in the islands, but groups of sea gypsies inhabit the region – dwelling aboard their boats during the dry season and sheltering on land when rainy season approaches.
Day 10: At Sea
Spend the day relaxing at sea as you make your way towards Yangon.
Day 11: Yangon
Arrive in Yangon and disembark the ship. Before you transfer to the airport, leave some time to explore the town and view its saffron-robed Buddhist monks.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.

The response from Adventure Life to my first inquiry was prompt and promising. I worked with Jamie Broeckel, Trip Planner, via text, email, and phone calls- always extremely responsive and thorough with information and explaining the process to arrange a private tour for me to Malaysia Borneo. Within about week, the booking was complete and I made decisions because of Jamie's great customer service , friendly manner, and overall competence on behalf of the company's travel expertise. Now I have an itinerary, additional Trip Planner Assistants, several links for vital information for traveling to Maylasia, etc. Still many details for Sept. trip, but now the heavy lifting is done and I can enjoy the rest of the anticipation and research!! Thanks Jamie- you are amazing!!!!

The trip was not only memorable for the amount of animals we saw but also for the people and accommodations at the two camps where we stayed. Our first guide, BK, was a wealth of information about the animals, landscape and down to the plants and what they were used for. Everyday out was a learning experience with him. All the people at the camps were gracious and the food was excellent.
Our second camp in the Okavanga was just as good as the first as far as the staff, accommodations, food and animals. After our experience at the first camp we amazed that the high quality remained the same. Our guide, G, made sure we were able to enjoy every experience including a rush through the bush to witness a cheetah and an ensuing hunt that he heard over his radio.
In both camps there were enough guides out that if they saw something the other guides were informed which helped in seeing as much as possible. It was also nice that the concessions were large enough that we did not have vehicles following each other throughout the day.
Normally there is always something in a trip of this length that we think could be improved upon but this is the rare case where we cannot think of anything. From the time we left the States to when we returned it was one of the most hassle free vacations we took.
Perhaps emphasizing the use of the laundry facilities at the camps would be useful because of the luggage restrictions would be the only thing I can think of as an improvement to future clients.
