Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Fly in from mainland Ecuador to Baltra. Here a guide conducts you to a bus, and after a short ride to the pier, board the Yacht. Be greeted by the crew and enjoy a light snack before embarking on the first excursion to Dragon Hill. This is a great location for observing land iguanas. Take a walk to a brackish lagoon that is saltier than the ocean. Enjoy viewing flamingos, common stilts, pintail ducks, and other species of birds at this unique lagoon. There is an option to enjoy a nice relaxing swim or exploratory snorkeling at this location.
Day 2: Post Office Bay | Devil's Crown | Point Cormorant, Floreana
After breakfast, make a wet landing on Post Office Bay, a historic site that recalls the days of the whalers. They presumably placed a wooden barrel here in the 18th century to use it as a post office. It is tradition to leave a postcard and grab another that has been left by previous travelers to deliver at home. Here you can enjoy some optional swim and snokrling time.
Then take a panga ride on La Lobería of Post Office and observe sea lion rookeries, a main attraction, on the beach and in the bay of the Lobería, sea turtles and marine iguanas. After lunch, visit the Devil’s Crown, a submerged volcano. This is a great location for snorkeling for those who wish to participate. It is one of the best snorkeling sites in the Islands.
Head to Point Cormorant for a short walk to the Flamingo Lagoon of this island. Continue the walk until you reach the beach called "La Picona" to see marine turtles and their spawning grounds. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon of snorkeling or swimming. Later return to the Yacht for dinner and nightly orientation.
After breakfast make a dry landing on Punta Suarez to walk along lava beds and observe unique colonies of marine birds, including albatross. After lunch make a wet landing in Gardner Bay for a walk on the beach to observe a colony of sea lions. These friendly sea lions inhabit the beach in great quantity during the breeding season. This location is also an important nesting area for sea turtles. Here you have the option of swimming or snorkeling in the crystal blue waters. Return to the boat for a delicious dinner and evening orientation.
Day 4: Jacinto Gordillo Turtle Breeding Center | Kicker Rock | Cerro Brujo, San Cristobal
After breakfast, make a dry landing San Cristobal port, after a short drive arrive at Jacinto Gordillo Turtle Breeding Center where you can learn about its reproductive process and the programs to maintain the species. Take the bus back to the port to visit the Interpretation Center of Human History of the Islands; this tour takes you through the geological and human history of the islands and its conservation.
Come aboard for a delicious lunch. Later, sail around Kicker Rock, a massive tuff-rock that juts abruptly almost 500 feet straight up from the ocean. Many sea birds use Kicker Rock as a nesting place. This is also a great place for swimming and snorkeling if you are in the mood.
Make a wet landing on Cerro Brujo and walk over the beautiful white sand beach. Observe sea lions, brown pelicans, marine iguanas, and blue-footed boobies while making your way around this incredible island. Have some fun kayaking, snorkeling, or swimming at this location. There are many incredible sites to see. Return to the ship for a nice meal and evening orientation.
Day 5: North Seymour | Disembark | Baltra
1 Breakfast
After a delicious breakfast start early and head to North Seymour Island. Take a walk along the coast and interior of the island and enjoy its unique landscape. North Seymour is a low, flat island that was uplifted from the sea by underground seismic activity. Observe the blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas, pelicans, frigate birds, shore birds, sea lions, and endemic Palo Santo while wandering around North Seymour.
Return to the Yacht for disembarking on the pier at 09:00. Your guide accompanies you on the bus ride directly to the airport.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.

Adventure Life is definitely a first-class safari tour company, and our representative was Franny Friesz. First of all, she responded immediately after we contacted Adventure Life. We told Franny that we had never been on a safari, and she was more than eager to offer a mountain of information about the trip. She informed us fully about all the ups, downs, and all arounds! She even prepared a number of packages for us to review -- even after we made changes to the areas we wanted to explore. Friendly, helpful, professional, and extremely knowledgeable -- these words describe Franny, and what a wonderful trip she prepared! We couldn't have asked for better service than Franny of Adventure Life. We HIGHLY recommend her and her outstanding company! Bon Voyage!

The staff at Adventure Life made planning my family's trip to the Galapagos Islands as easy as possible. They listened to what we were hoping to experience and made thoughtful suggestions about how to accomplish our vacation goals while meeting the needs of travelers ages 17-76! They patiently answered questions and follow up questions in the months leading up to the trip. They helped us trouble shoot and customize the trip in every way possible. The logistics involved in traveling from Boston to the Galapagos are innumerable. The Adventure Life staff helped us arrange every detail and the team they assembled in the Galapagos was tremendous. I have never done a trip this big before and after working with Adventure Life this time--would not hesitate one second in working with them again.
