Deposit & Payment Days 1-2 Fly Shanghai/Transfer to Hotel
Depart on an overnight flight to Shanghai where you are met on arrival and transferred to your hotel.
Day 3 Explore Shanghai
Start your day with a stroll through Yu Gardens, a magnificent private garden and residence from the 16th-century Ming dynasty. This afternoon, visit the Shanghai Museum to view some of the most beautiful works of Chinese art in the world. In the evening, attend a performance of the Shanghai Acrobatic Show.
Day 4 Visit Zhujiajiao
This morning, travel to Zhujiajiao, a fan shaped "water village" with ancient stone bridges and buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasty. After lunch, walk along the Bund, enjoying the view of Pudong, a district of Shanghai that has emerged as China's financial and commercial center, across the river. Travel through the Bund light show sightseeing tunnel for a display of Shanghai life.
Day 5 Fly Yichang/Embark Ship
Fly to Yichang to board your luxury river cruiser to begin your voyage through the legendary Three Gorges.
Days 6-8 Cruise the Yangzi
Cruise the mighty Yangzi, enjoying its scenic splendor with stops along the way at the Three Gorges.
Day 9 Disembark Ship/Fly to Xian
Disembark and explore the Chongqing Zoo, where the pandas are the most popular attraction. Fly to Xian and visit the Yangling Museum, which houses recent discoveries from the Han Dynasty tombs.
Day 10 Explore Emperor Qin's Tomb and Shaanxi Museum
Tour the tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuangdi and its Terra Cotta Warriors. Explore the Shaanxi Museum, the finest museum of ancient Chinese history and The Ancient Gate of the City Wall.
Day 11 Xian Museum/Fly to Beijing
This morning, visit the eighth-century Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the Xian Museum, with over 120,000 relics and sculptures. Fly to Beijing late this afternoon.
Days 12-13 Explore Beijing
Spend two days at this vibrant city's sights: Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and the Great Wall.
Day 14 Return Home
Transfer to the airport to board your homebound flight.
