This 5-day Eastern Islands Galapagos cruise on the ship, Yolita II, explores the wildlife-rich shores and vast underwater wonders of South Plaza, Espanola, San Cristobal, and more! Walk along beaches made of coral and volcanic ash, observe a myriad of unique wildlife and plant species, snorkel in clear waters, and admire fantastic volcanic formations as you sail around the Eastern Galapagos islands.
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Arrive in Baltra and transfer to the Yolita II. In the afternoon, head to the beautiful North Seymour Island, where there are many nesting sites for blue-footed boobies and many other magnificent seabirds.
Day 2: Cerro Brujo Leon Dormido - San Cristobal-Isla Lobos
In the morning, arrive on the beach of Cerro Brujo, which is made of volcanic ash and white coral. Here, search for warblers, finches, and a variety of sea birds, as well sea lions, sea turtles, and rays. Later, head to Leon Dormido, which was once a large lava cone that has now split into two large rock formations. On these rocks, keep an eye out for Nazca boobies, blue footed boobies, and frigate birds. Leon Dormido is also a wonderful place to snorkel.
In the afternoon, sail to Isla Lobos, where you can find a large variety of volcanic rock, as well as sea lions and many kinds of seabirds and shorebirds.
Spend the morning swimming, relaxing and snorkeling in Gardner Bay. You may even be able to observe sharks in the Bay's crystal clear waters.
Afterwards, head to the rocky landscape of Punta Suarez to view one of the most impressive sea bird colonies in the Galapagos, as well as an incredible blowhole that spouts 70-75 ft of water into the air.
In the morning, sail to Santa Fe to hike and observe the diverse wildlife that inhabit the island. Some of these creatures include Galapagos mockingbirds, Galapagos snakes, rice rats, Galapagos hawks, two species of iguanas, sea lions, and many different tropical fish.
In the afternoon, travel to South Plaza in search of the unique iguana species that live there, as well as many different birds such as Swallow Tailed Gulls, Audubon Shearwaters, Red-billed tropicbirds, brown pelicans, and frigate birds.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.

I spoke with at least a half dozen other travel companies, looking for a Galapagos cruise that fit our schedule and budget. Some companies could manage one or the other, but Erin was the only one who could do both. She found us the perfect cruise, at a fantastic price! And she has been quick and patient with responses to my many questions. So far, Adventure Life has been a fantastic company to work with!
