Drive north to visit "El mirador de Guápulo" (view point), from where we can admire its church and Quito's nearby valleys. We'll go south towards Quito's colonial center - one of the world's cultural heritage sites, where we can see many historical buildings; including churches, museums and monuments. From here we'll continue to El Panecillo - the small, rounded hill which dominates the old town. From its summit we'll see marvelous views of the whole city stretching out below, as well as magnificent views of the surrounding volcanoes.
We will then cross the city, driving to the base of Pinchincha Volcano. We will board the aerial tram, which will take us to the top of the volcano, overlooking Quito and the entire valley. Spend the early afternoon walking through the volcanic highlands with your guide.

Kate was great to work with in the planning stage. She was prompt, helpful, and efficient. Our tour guide, Edwin, was knowledgeable and passionate. We were very happy to have traveled with Adventure Life, it made the trip easy and a true pleasure. We could concentrate on enjoying the experience rather than the details of travel.
