Day 1: Linz, Austria | Embark

Passengers are welcome to board the ship at 6:00 PM. After settling into your comfortable cabin, the ship leaves for Vienna. Join us for a welcome cocktail to meet the crew before dinner.

Day 2: Vienna, Austria

Arrive in Vienna early in the morning. Excursion options:

CLASSIC: Visit to Schoenbrunn Palace, former summer residence of the imperial family, and tour of part of Vienna.
DISCOVERY (with a supplement): High art of Viennese living: Music and Viennese cafes. Stroll through the city and visit back stage in the Konzerthaus concert hall. after your tour, enjoy a steaming cup of Vienna Coffee and a delicious pastry.

This afternoon, enjoy some free time or join us for a visit to Hofburg Palace. Evening excursion options:

CLASSIC: Tour of Vienna by night.
DISCOVERY (with a supplement): Onboard waltzing lessons.
 

Day 3: Budapest, Hungary

Afternoon excursions proposed:

CLASSIC: Sightseeing tour of Budapest, once two distinct cities that united only in 1873.
DISCOVERY (with a supplement): Budapest by bike. See all the important sights of the city on an easy-paced ride, cycling through the historical center of Hungarian culture and many other legendary sites in Budapest.

Enjoy an evening of “operetta music” on board.

Day 4: Budapest |The Puszta

Enjoy a free day in Budapest (excluding lunch) or join an optional excursion: Visit the Puszta, the Pannonian steppe grasslands (typical regional lunch included). Also called the Great Plain, this vast prairie was the once the wild west of Hungary, and immense herds of livestock grazed here under the watchful eye of the cowboys. 

Day 5: Bratislava, Slovakia

Afternoon excursions proposed:

CLASSIC: Guided tour of Bratislava. The charm of the Slovakian capital lies in its old city: splendid Baroque palaces, churches and pleasant squares.
DISCOVERY (with a supplement): Hiking in Bratislava: The Little Carpathians. From Devin Castle, take in the splendid view of Bratislava.
 

Day 6: Dürnstein | Melk, Austria

Discover Dürnstein, a town famous for the King Richard the Lionhearted legend and its abbey, glittering in light blue and white, which has one of the most beautiful baroque bell towers in all of Austria. Continue sailing toward Melk through the wonderful Wachau Valley, where Gothic ruins alternate with picturesque villages. In the afternoon, arrive in Melk and be part of a guided tour of the Benedictine Abbey of Melk. 

Day 7: Linz, Austria | Disembark

Arrive at Linz in the early morning enjoy a buffet breakfast on board followed by disembarkation.
