Spend the beginning of the morning cruising to Pauillac. Toward the middle of the morning, set off on your bike for the day. Start your adventure biking to Saint-Estèphe, a town famous for its Baroque architecture, and its stunning view of the Garonne. Enjoy a picnic lunch. In the afternoon bike along some of the most prestigious vineyards in the world and catch a glimpse of France’s biggest wine estates. Take the opportunity to taste some wine in a world-famous castle renowned for its Bordeaux. On your way back to Pauillac, see a few prominent wine estates like Chateau Pontet-Canet, Chateau Pichon Longeville Baron and Chateau Lynch-Bages. Get back on the ship for an evening of entertainment and remain in port overnight.

Leave Pauilliac early and spend the morning cruising the Gironde to the estuary. Cruise along the marshes and see the steep cliffs of Meschers-sur-Gironde, troglodyte homes and fishing cabins before reaching Blaye. Get on your bike in the afternoon and explore Blaye, with its vineyards, rich croplands and castles. Bike on hilly roads overlooking the magnificent Garonne area. Pass through Plassac and its Roman ruins, Marmisson and its infamous troglodytes (entry fee not included), and Bayon-sur-Gironde—where you can enjoy a stunning view of “Bec d'Ambès,” the confluence of the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. Then, head to Bourg. If you feel like it, bike a few miles more to Saint-Gervais and contemplate the magnificent landscapes from the shadow of its medieval church, before returning to Blaye for the evening. The famous Sauternes and Barsac vineyards are the highlight of today’s journey. Bike past Château d’Yquem, famous for its liquors and refined wines. Sauternes wine is world-famous for its quality and its unique sweetness. The region benefits from an oceanic climate, which favors the proliferation of the Botrytis cinerea fungus. This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).

Clara and Rhenee were gracious and available. Phone contact is so important to answer questions and discuss all aspects of trip. If not immediately available they scheduled a time to speak.
They were knowledgeable, honest, realistic and very friendly. They are both very professional and take their role seriously.

The ability (of Kassandra) to tailor a guided trip to my exact preferences is very valuable to me, as well as the ability (of Kassandra) to provide expert guidance on destinations and travel dates. I also appreciate the ability of the backup staff (Maria Ignacio, Exito Travel) to coordinate all the details to make the travel logistics easy for the customer.

Our Costa Rica trip was amazing! Kassandra planned everything and the excursions, hotels, overall organization were outstanding. Everything worked out smoothly, the excursions guides were knowledgeable allowing us to see so much of the fauna and flora of the country. The hotels were great as well, all in fantastic locations and with beautiful views.
