Day 1: San Cristobal

Arrive at the airport on San Cristobal and transfer to Santa Cruz II.

Begin your Galapagos cruise at the Interpretation Center to learn about the history and biodiversity of the Galápagos Islands. Take a self-guided walking tour to familiarize yourself with this unique island chain.

Day 2: Santa Fe - South Plaza Island

  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
In the morning, arrive at Santa Fe to view a large forest of Opuntia cactus. Snorkel with sea lions in the picturesque turquoise lagoon.

Travel to South Plaza Island to view one of the one of the largest populations of land iguanas in the Galápagos. The island is also home to a hybrid iguana species, a mixture between land and marine iguanas.

Day 3: Santa Cruz Island

Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, an international non-profit organization which provides the necessary scientific research, technical information and assistance to ensure the proper preservation of the Galápagos.

Travel to Los Gemelos, two volcanic depressions on the highest part of Santa Cruz, and hike around the area.

Day 4: Espanola

  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Sail for the island of Espanola and visit Suárez Point, one of the most spectacular wildlife areas of the archipelago. View Española Island mockingbirds, Galápagos doves, Galápagos hawks, marine iguanas, and the oversized lava lizard.

In the afternoon, travel to Gardner Bay to snorkel with fish and the occasional shark and sea turtle.

Day 5: Baltra

  • 1 Breakfast
Transfer to the airport for your connection back to the mainland.
