Spend the holidays in the Galapagos! Christmas and New Years are excellent times to travel to the Galapagos and reservations must be made months or even years in advance during the holiday season, as cruises fill up far in advance. Cruise around the islands of Floreana, Espanola, San Cristobal, Santa Fe, South Plaza, Seymour, and Genovesa snorkeling with sea lions, marine iguanas, and sea turtles. Hike amongst land iguanas, lava lizards, and the famous Galapagos tortoises on this 8-day cruise!
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Arrive in Baltra and transfer to your ship, the Galaxy II. Begin your Galapagos adventure with a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Center on Santa Cruz, where you can learn about the protection and conservation of the islands, as well as the breeding, rearing, and protection of Galapagos tortoises.
Start your day hiking and snorkeling on Punta Cormorant (Cormorant Point), Floreana. Here, you can observe one of the best flamingo lagoons in the Galapagos. The lagoon is situated between two tuff lava cones that give the area a special atmosphere. Besides flamingos, you may also see common stilts, white-checked pintails, and other migratory birds. Then walk along two distinct beaches. One is a green-colored olivine beach, and the other an iron-red beach.

Clara and Rhenee were gracious and available. Phone contact is so important to answer questions and discuss all aspects of trip. If not immediately available they scheduled a time to speak.
They were knowledgeable, honest, realistic and very friendly. They are both very professional and take their role seriously.
